I think other than Celtic away, we have a pretty decent start to the campaign. Good chance to rack up early points.

I stand corrected BTW. They have doubled us up with the vermin again on two occasions to be both at home. FFS, it isn't difficult you muppets!

Celitc away in between the legs :oohmatron:  of our EL play-off is a bit annoying, but otherwise a decent opening run of games

Dont understand why, knowing we are in Europe and playing Thursday nights, that they have listed our games after as Saturdays

Group dates are already confirmed so we know our first 8 definite Sunday matches.

August 21, 28

September 11, 18

October 9, 16, 30

November 6

2 out of 8 of these are home games I think?

Edit: No I'm wrong. As usual...

Noticed on the fixtures hearts released that the Kilmarnock game on the 17th isn't correct... There is no Saturday the 17th of November this year...

What competition is that for?

Edit: Got it now, that's the Sunday dates not the Euro dates.

League Cup dates as they affect us are 30/31 August and, hopefully, 18/19/20 October, 14/15 January (semi final) and 26 February (final).

Does anyone know the Scottish Cup dates. I know that the final is on 3 June?

Just had my attention drawn to Killie match being the correct date but wrong month on Hearts site. It's 17th DECEMBER.

Looks like 20 Jan for the first round we’d be in

You're not kidding. Both arse cheeks at home, three away games and three games in Europe.

We seem to always get a derby early in the fixtures

rangers and Celtic tend to get almost a whole round of fixtures before they meet each other!

randomly generated my arse 😂😂

On SATF podcast Robbie talked about the difficulty of playing on Sunday after a Euro away trip. The example he gave was if we played away in Greece with a 8pm KO on Thursday then away to Ross County on Sunday they'd have very limited prep time for less actual training. But also it's what big clubs have to deal with.

What I'm thinking is our away matches after Euro games will be very hard. If we are in touching distance of 3rd come the WC break I'll be happy.

Of course some people will lose their (insert word of choice)after our first draw of the season.

Coming 3rd again will be unbelievablely hard but if we do it we really do start to lay the foundations for catching up on the two in the West.

I for one am very excited.

Plus the away games are after European ties and at Kilmarnock, Aberdeen and Ross County. Couldn't get longer trips.

October could be the most difficult month we've ever had.

There's (hopefully) a cheeky wee LC QF in there, too, on the 18th/19th/20th.

Aye - Oct looks like a real toughie.   Anything better than 3 away draws   and 2 defeats at home can probably be considered a resounding success !!

Pretty good assessment there.

UEFA and FIFA seem to be  conspiring to ruin the integrity of club football by  cramming in more & more fixtures (e.g. playoffs) throughout the year, which means the top players are at increased risk of injury and burn-out.   Greedy bar stewards.
