You can find countless different types of 'sleep sounds' on YouTube, white noise, ocean sounds, rain sounds, rain with thunder sounds diesel engine idling sounds, and many more. Auld Reekin' Posted June 14, 2022 Share Posted June 14, 2022 I was in the WGH for 5 weeks around 7 years ago and often had difficulty getting to sleep and with waking up in the middle of the night. During that time I definitely found that listening to carefully-selected (nothing too noisy or raucous!) music on my 'phone helped. I'm not a huge classical music fan but some of that playing gently was often good as indeed was some of the "world-music" I had, given that I wasn't trying to follow lyrics or anything and could just let the sounds wash over me to an extent.
