I may be wrong but it felt like quite a number of years went by from late 90s to recently where no one at all outwith OF spent a bean. These days we're starting to see a few transfer fees here and there which even in the low £100ks is progress. I think ourselves and Aberdeen are in decent health, Dundee United not shy (though their wage-turnover must still be silly) and seeing Ross County happy to reinvest a little isn't bad either.
