Souttar's first interview is on Rangers social media.

Didn't read it but saw the picture, sad to see him grinning away wearing a sevco tap

Goldson staying at Rangers, new four year deal, can’t see the new guy ousting him from the team 😆.

Ouch. Genuinely didn’t see that coming I thought he was a gonner.

It's Barisic that should be worried. Bassey will move to left back and Souttar with Goldson. Definitely improves their back line for sure.

Must be paying him treble what he was on as would have had a good few offers from teams down south

I hope Hearts speak to him if he fancies coming. We have no-one like him in the middle and would add to the current squad

Good grief, he is never fit. No danger we want him at Tynecastle. Would fit in at Dunfermline or Falkirk.

Agree fitness is concern but we’re used to having players on the sidelines!!

He also couldn’t get a game in one of the worst Hibs teams in recent memory when fit. He was on the bench plenty last year.

Not worth risk IMO. Heart issue, diabetic & niggling injuries. For me it’s a no.

It’ll be a no from most on here mate and I understand that. He is a clever player and when playing regular for Hibs was their danger man for me

Land up at Killie or the likes he's busted flush and nowhere good enough for Hearts anymore

McKay with more quality round him could be better than him IMO.

Lot of chat that he may have to retire, so Dundee it is for him!

In the role Allan plays I mean. McKay has produced most coming in off the left. Allan plays predominantly as a #10.

You couldn’t play Boyce Allan and McKay in the same midfield especially if we don’t have Simms. Poor Cammy Devlin would feel like he’d played 180 minutes after every game chasing shadows.

Good technician but knackered for top level football.

We need a ball playing and carrying midfielder of his ilk, but not him.

No where near athletic or fit enough.

Did he not say "once a Hibs man, always a Hibs man"?

That's hardly going to have Boab/Savage chasing after him.

Was Goodwin who wanted him. Doubt he’ll end up at Aberdeen though

Paul Hartley new manager at Hartlepool. Seems a weird choice from him.

Hartlepool seemed determined to get a lower league Scottish manager. Is a weird move for Hartley but guess its full time football

Hope it goes all well for Paul at Hartlepool. I would of liked to see him do a season at Cove in the championship.

Same,  but it's not the most secure job to have. He is the 14th permanent manager they have appointed since the start of the 2012/13 season.

Maybe but nothing suggests that Souttar can play 40+ games a season. In a normal season he’ll miss at least 10 with injury, so if rangers are daft enough to put a title challenge in his hands nows a great time to put your mortgage on Celtic strolling to the title next year.

Also he’s not left footed. Bates at Aberdeen who is has been forced to play on the right and according to Goodwin that’s caused him so many problems. Fine Souttar is better than Bates but he’s not really played LCB before.
