Meh. We're tired and just desperately trying to stay uninjured. They're a bunch of fit as **** kids busting a gut. They hammered us at home a few weeks before the 98 final and that went okay.

How many goals do you think the mighty gers will take off "us" next week?

Hopefully not a one.

Dont get your knickers in a twist.

I would love to see McKay score a hat trick next week but if you were honest you’d admit he’s not a good finisher.

Today proves we’re miles off it still. Meaningless game but when the majority of your first team can’t beat a bunch of wee laddies there’s a problem. Ginnelly, GMS, McKay, Boyce, Devlin all crap today.

Masterstroke from Neilson and the players.

Lulled the Rangers team into thinking they just need to turn up next Saturday.

Just to make it clear, next week is the final, that was just an end of season, don’t get injured kick-about.

Hope this performance is smoke and mirrors or next week could be frightening

I am not feeling it after today, that's for sure ....here is for hoping this is a wake-up call.

That's right, there is literally no coaching at the club. Zero. Nothing.

Fair play, I was hurting and posted in anger so apologies for that.

To answer your point, he's one of the worst finishers at the club and we've got plenty of them.

All roads lead to Gorgie

I know the result doesn't matter, I lie it bloody well does. Not what we need ahead of next week! Very poor.

Harsh to say Boyce was crap today considering he played about 5 minutes but while we're naming folk that have been shite today can we add Sibbick and Smith to the list.

Smith was one of our better players today I thought. Sibbick wasn’t great but not as bad as all the others.

We have now given ourselves a problem.  We have played players we did not need to risking, and possibly causing injury.  We have also given the physiological edge, in that we have lost a home to a weakened side.

We haven’t blown it.  Next week’s performance matters more, but today’s lineup made no sense.

They could probably play this team at Hampden and win the cup comfortably

And yet they won't, probably because they wouldn't win it.

This is an absolute nothing game but it has been a bit of a worry how tired and fragile we've looked for a few weeks. Some players look like they're gonna keel over with a cruciate injury just walking to take a throw in. It hasn't been THAT long a season.

If he was he’d be nowhere ****ing near us that’s for sure. Nor Celtic or Rangers for that matter

Think we watched a different game, I've got a soft spot for Sibbick but he was murder today.

Not really sure what Neilson was hoping to achieve with todays team - but he's failed miserably and given the Huns a huge fillip for next Sat.

Give players who haven't played for months some game time.. That is about it.

And check whether they are match fit for next week. From what I have heard the jury may still be out on Soutter and Halkett on that score. Not surprisingly.

As I see it, we don't score first, and we fight to get back on terms, then go on to win the cup!!!!

Today's line up was to give players a run out, nothing more. Believe we'll see more intensity next week.

What is unforgivable is that this was the last home game of the season and that is not how you thank your fans. Being careful not to get injured is no excuse for the lack of effort.
