What's your favourite boozer in the Highbury vicinity?

Appropriately enough, our nearest is The Edinburgh Cellars.

But The Alma, The Snooty Fox & The Leconfield have also been happy to take our money.

Was in Virginia Water for 7 or 8 years but moved to a tiny wee village near Tring about 12 years ago....like others should get round to changing my username...interesting fact about my village - postal address is in 1 county, I pay council tax to another county and the school catchment area is in a 3rd county !

Anywhere in Epsom that might show the final, though McCaffertys may put it on?

If your over our way (Overground), the Pineapple is a go to boozer and The Assembly will always put Hearts on one of their big screens

He is doing well then. I ended up staying after leaving the forces.

Blandford Forum, Dorset.

Am I the furthest away ? In England that is.

Blandford Forum - wasn’t that one of the former railway stations mentioned in Flanders & Swann’s “Slow Train”? 🤔

Not sure, but McCafferty’s might be the best bet. Are you in Epsom too?

It very well might be, there was an old railway line through this part of Dorset, Blandford included.

Sure the sign going in says an interesting Georgian Town.  30SR took the sign to Nuneaton, and promptly had to return it when the RSM found out.

7hr drive on a good day.

Maida Vale, West London.

Booked the train with Lumo for the first time for the first time (£67 v £130 with LNER...). Got my season ticket for next year for the first time since leaving Edinburgh 5.5 years ago. I left Edinburgh a couple of weeks after Cathro was appointed and missed almost his entire reign as manager thankfully.

Rubbish !!  I had STs when living in Beaconsfield.  A mere hop skip & a jump to T5 to catch a plane. There at Tynie in no time at all.  Bloody expensive though 😜

Bloody hell we've got some posh ones. Beaconsfield and Henley on Thames. Proper establishment team.
