Just spoke to a mate who bought a season ticket for next season, he says it appears on his account as season ticket holder when he logs in and reckons he will get into phase 1. Should have said he didn’t have a ST this season.

what part of 21/22 ST holders does he not understand in the club statement ?

Nope. Season ticket holders and high loyalty points is the fairest way.

Impossible for the TO to please everyone and their random scenarios, looks like they've got it as close to spot on as possible here.

Don’t think they have.

They’ve thrown the loyalty point system out the window for every supporter who doesn’t have over 120.

What was the final threshold for the semi when they went public?

did they manage to get them switched over?

i bought a ticket for someone in the general sale and as i had no record of his account on my database (he hadn't been to a game since pre covid) so they must have deactivated it so i just put it against my reference number.

hoping they will be able to reallocate it to prevent him from cursing me

I never asked them to swap it mate, I was just confirming with them ST holders could get an additional ticket in phase 2.

Not sure how that’s possible. I thought ST sales just now were restricted to renewals?

It should be:

Phase 1 - ST holders or 120 LPs - 1 per account

Phase 2 - 20 LPs or semi final ticket buyer - 1 per account

Phase 3 - General sale

Ab gotcha. Thanks for that. You’ve just helped me sort out a SCF ticket issue.

Exactly how it should work.

Folk getting the opportunity to buy an extra ticket is absurd. Very Hibs actually.

Why ? We've had this argument year after year when Hearts get to a final. The club are rightly ensuring ST holders get a ticket - it's hardly a big deal to wait a week and buy them in phase II if that's what you need to do.

Why should ST holders get two tickets ahead of anybody else ?

That would very likely mean no/very little availability for anyone who went to the SF - which is what happened in 2006 when ST holders got all the tickets.

You make good points - there is however one big difference vs 2006. 2022 ST holders can buy one ticket and then potentially a second, in 2006 ST holders could buy 3 tickets immediately.

The club were confident they would be allocated several thousand extra tickets and whilst they did get some they did not get as many as they expected.

Why?

Gretna just kept selling more and and more tickets  …… to Hearts supporters!!

Yes but no!
They’ve applied the loyalty points system with a semi final ticket overrider!

And yes that means folks with less than 120 loyalty points who never went to the semi are up the creek! Harsh but a lot fairer than many systems used in the passed.

With hindsight the only thing the club could have done better would have been to announce these selling arrangements for the final before the semi final tickets went on sale!

I agree being a FoH contributor should have some benefits, but not this

I trust our entire allocation comes to us.  Seem to remember in a celtic final a large bunch of our allocation went to Tony Macaroni and were largely sold to celtic supporters.

I may be wrong here but I hope there are absolutely no scams in our disfavour.

Not quite sure if this is the correct thread for this but apologies if not

I'm looking for someone who's eligible in the first phase of tickets who can't go who would be willing to let me purchase a ticket via their account. I have a friend from outside of Scotland coming over from the game and while I'd be able to get him a ticket in phase 2 he'd end up halfway across the stadium (as he did in 2019) and I'd prefer him next to us 😅  I'd usually just delay and buy in phase 2 but I'm getting tickets for a large group and feel it wouldn't be fair to delay getting theirs just incase.

I promise a heartfelt thank you and a pint before any game of your choosing 😄

Lesson of the day, don’t let your mate sort tickets for the semi, without allocating the tickets to you, so he can then bump you for the final.

Help Needed !

Having a mare trying to add mates to my Hearts Ticket Buying network.

Keep on trying to add them in advance of tomorrow, and the system keeps on kicking me out with a message saying NO Members Found.

Tried phoning Tynecastle. No option to speak with anyone, just voice automated messages inviting me to email Hearts.

Surely the best answer can't be me, (or anyone else having similar issues), having to traipse into Tynecastle today to sort this out ?

Any whizz kids out there able to assist ?

Thanks in advance

Send them an email. I had the same issue and they responded relatively quickly.

No, because from previous experience there's no guarantee that I will get a response in time, or a response that would solve the issue.

I will try this though, but don't hold out much hope

I think it’s your best bet, apart from going to the stadium.

Yeh Dave, that's what I was hoping to avoid.

Email sent, but if I don't get a reply, or I get a response with a suggested solution that either doesn't work, or elicits a need for further emails between us, then I'd be climbing the walls.

A 2 minute call to a human, or a system that works, ( this adding friends to your network has been a problem for a while), would surely be a better solution.

I’m getting a feeling of deja vu here. The answer is not necessarily as it’s driven by the SFA dictated order of sale. Plus, good seats isn’t an objective thing.

Aye another thread becoming the Hamilton show. Same inane questions.

Sorry to clutter the thread but if anyone has a spare then it would be very gratefully received. Like others, I thought I might be ok on LPs but didn’t make it to the semi final.

I know they said to be patient but it is frustrating. Either engaged constantly or message saying service not available for me.

Same offer less Scott Wilson.

Don't think it would be as good, unless he can beam himself over to the Hilton.

Doing it as a hologram apparently. Not sure what they will do re ex players and stuff either. It’s good that it’s selling out though.
