Away shirt is a beaut. Reminds me of the 98 cup final shirt.

I'd kinda learned how to use it a bit better when I was doing the away. Not so keen on the home one now that I've been away and came back to it.

It's not bad. Dying on a home kit with white pinstripes if I'm being honest.

Yeah not something we've ever had is it? We've had away kits with stripes but never a home (not white stripes anyway). I think the one I've done above would be nice with fewer stripes and maybe a collar?

Also like the pin stripes. Different.

Love the 3rd one.

People’s taste vary so much.  I think the third one is horrific.

The first two on the other hand….😍

Please get rid of that light blue monstrosity. It's, by a long way, the worst we've ever had.

I do not like it either.  Looks like a £4.99 top out of Primark.  Maybe good for kids on holiday, but not a £40 football top.

Something fairly simple for me. Certainly for the home strip, with the proper maroon colour.  I’d rather not have fancy shapes or squiggles.  Not too many anyway.

A lot of the classic ones I like, only subtlety  change. Real Madrid, Juventus.  The Milans.  And Internationally, Italy and Brazil, for example.

Aye.  You look at some of Madrid’s tops over the years , and aside from the adidas stripes being in colour, it can be a fairly simple top but nice.

The cut of the material is important.

Would love a really plain maroon top but striking because of its style.  Alot of Italian tops can be like that.

I agree.  The cut is important, though I’d be impressed if they found a cut that made it look good on me.

Every year I live in hope that we might get an away strip like this. Without the avert on the sash obviously.

I want a sash/Peru style as well buy not a fan of that collar.

Something like these with Maroon shorts would be great.

It's a nice strip, but I'm not sure a strip with a sash on it is really the way forward.

I’d be happy for that as an away top, but not the reverse as a home.

If we move away from umbro after this season i'd like us to look at Castore or Under Armour, not so much for the kits themselves but both manufacturers have very good ranges of team wear/training gear that would sell far better than Umbro, walk into a gym and the amount of UA gear is unreal

Castore.

Castore that outsource the production of their kits to different places and don't check the quality before shipping them, leading to wild differences in the same design?

Castore that produce training kit which comes pre-bobbled so you don't have to worry about wearing them out?

Castore that fall apart when they get held near a washing machine?

Castore that regularly do this sort of stuff:

No ****ing thank you.

I don't really either, but it's the one different thing I can't think we've ever done

You mean from a sectarian aspect?

I don't think with us it would be an issue, as opposed to Rangers with their "Dutch" tribute strips.

This is true maybe a chequered maroon and white away or a harlequin

me too and I wonder if a Croatia style chequered white and maroon away with maroon shorts and white socks might be a nice change

Agree on home strip, has to be predominantly maroon; that Ajax style top we did years ago was an abomination.

It just won't go away, bud.

We don't look remotely like Heart of Midlothian wearing that thing.

I mocked one of them up on that site listed above.  It looked shit hot without a sponsor.

It would be great if the Big Hearts badge could fit into one of the squares for the away sponsor, but the text sponsor logos end up looking messy - you'd either need them in black or to be tiny to actually be visible.  Not a problem with national sides obviously, but not so much with us unless we go sponsor less.

Yes I suppose it would look a bit naff with a sponsor on that back ground

No thanks. Two huge games. Two defeats.

Time to put it to bed.

It would look great as an away kit, and I'm sick of us only having blue or white as options.

Time to reclaim the colour, and stop associating it with something that happened 2 generations ago.
