Didn't think he would challenge this year, based on the belief that Robertson or Selby would take him. It just shows that O'Sullivan's B game is way too much for anyone else's B game. JFK-1 Posted April 6, 2023 Share Posted April 6, 2023 I don't see Stephen Hendry seriously competing again, I don't see him being willing to put in the practice. Saw it being discussed on TV some years ago why the older generation of players tend to decline. And they said what it generally comes down to is the drive just isn't there anymore. Going into a tournament like this it's about practicing minimum 8 hours a day every day just clearing the table over and over. Young guys on the way up are willing to do that, these older guys like Stephen who are already financially comfortable just can't be bothered with that kind of dedication anymore.
