It was like that in that Tour Championship final recently. Was distracting as hell watching it so fair play to the players for ignoring it all. 😁

Good start by Maguire tonight.  Would love to see him push him to the end because he'll grow stronger the closer he gets to a win.

I like Maguire but he never seems to have enough self belief.

At least he's started tonight better than the morning though. 😁

Spoke too soon as he's missed an easy one. Needs to keep the head.

To be honest im not that fussed who wins the championship.  But I like Ronnie's swagger and his rock and roll attitude.

WTF was that about? Two drunk guys in the club.

Can't stand him. Plus don't want him equalling Hendry's record.

Worry is the two players who can get in his head (Selby and Robertson) have shat it.

Yea I think he has a good chance now , if Trump is booted out .

Can't see past Ronnie now. Trump probably the only one who could stop him, but he's a strange one. Great talent but doesn't seem to have the application.

That's unreal luck for Lisowski there

Great response by Higgins. Into a decider we're going...

Great last 2 frames from Higgins.

Mark Williams said something interesting after he won his Quarter final.

He said he was really tired in the 2nd session of day when he lost the session 6-2 against Yan Bingtao and said he would have lost the game if was played to finish. Said he struggled playing 2 sessions in day.

7-1 down to Trump after 1st session. 2 sessions tomorrow.

He wasn't happy with the new table tonight.

Yep, that's what the Eurosport commentators were banging on about and how he had never complained about table conditions etc in the past.

Sure it was Neale Foulds and whoever the other bloke was. Bumming Ronnie up constantly.

Ah well, 4-4 after the first session.

O'Sullivan starting to bash Higgins.  Good.  Big last frame for 10-6 or 9-7.

The Ronnie supporters at these events are actual dicks. Cheering when he decided not to take a risky pot on and play safety shot instead. 🤦‍♂️🤣

Taylor & Doherty...pair of throbbers.

"never seen anything like it"

Get a grip. 🖕🤣

Sadly that last frame is a sore one for Higgins. Hard to see him win now.

The whole '30 years of the class of 92' has been really annoying.

Agree referring “ class of 92 “ lol 😂 what’s that about 😂

That was phenomenal resolve to hang into that frame and produce the clearance,  considering where the black was.  I think he lives for the chance to prove that kind of genius.  Higgins can carry a bit of luck and it can be quite subtle.  Looks like it's run out.  He's still in it if the A game makes an appearance though.  He needs to win 11-6 or better from this point.  'A game' Higgins could do that.  Sub-A Higgins will need a lot more luck.

They should toss people out whos phones are always ringing or pinging.  Surely the first thing you do when entering the arena is put your phone on silent? Must be annoying for the players.

John Higgins still not quite at his very best.

But impressive exhibition of safety play by both.

That was an excellent frame

That was a master class in safety play. Probably be used to teach everyone now.

But just unfortunate landing allowed another brilliant break.

All the breaks over 40 are from Ronnie.

I know he rubs a lot of people up the wrong way, but you can't deny the quality of Ronnie. Playing absolutely devastating stuff right now.

He is incredible. If he wins this to equal Hendry in world titles there can be no denying him the ATG title imo.

Yep !

It's taken Ronnie 30 years to get near Stephen Hendry's 7 world titles and beat his other records. Hendry did it in half the time, and they were all there.

Again Hendry won 7 out of 9 finals in 15 years. Ronnie has taken 30 years and he's still on 6, against worse players. If Stephen changed his game to play more safety, he'd still be there .

I'd take issue with your better players argument. A coked-up Jimmy White, Nigel Bond, Peter Ebdon?!
