Yeah I think we could upgrade. However he is 21 and could be coached and could be a good asset to have.

I’d keep Cochrane for the squad as he is a solid reliable player but we need a better attacking LWB if we continue to play the 3-4-3 and want to improve.

 

If we do get a run at a Euro groups next year we’ll need a bigger squad. And we’ll have the cash to do so.

You could say the same thing of Smith, but unlike Smith, you rarely see Cochrane making himself available to the midfielders when they're under pressure. It's why when the two of them are in at WB, the ball always seems to end up on the right in our build up.

Don’t need pace to beat a man. Drop the shoulder, use a big skill, more positive first touch. He’s even stopping going down the wing as much.
