However I think just from war grave counts alone the numbers of Russian dead far exceed 200k and that might not be including all the non Russian fighters they employ. Numbers are easily twisted. The ratio has swung heavily towards more Russian deaths to Ukrainian ones in recent months, currently estimated at around 6:1 I'd trust actual intelligence services over random internet bloggers.

My wife was talking to our Polish friend a short time ago and she revealed some disturbing news about what is going in that Area. The American troops that were stationed on the Poland’s border with Ukraine have been withdrawn to central Poland. All men aged between 20-40/45 years old have barred from leaving Poland as they are preparing for War! The Polish friend and her husband are gathering money together to drive to Poland Berlin and pick up families children then return and get the adults. I assume they will be coming here. She said she listens Polish News, British News and has a friend in the US who updates her on news from there. The difference is very stark. Also Ukrainians living in Poland when they go to the shops demand free food🤷🏼♂️ I must be very difficult living in that region with the threat of war on your door step. Russia got around 0.8% of Ukranian land in 2025. The arms that Ukraine are now producing is insane. This year they said they will be going on the offensive. They still have a lot of manpower as well and are fully funded for another two years solid to fight on. They just need to hold out. December was the first month of the war that the loss of Russian soldiers was more than signed up. The sign up bonuses for the Russian fodder have all but stopped. The oligarchs are losing billions. The economy is on the ropes. You can tell the defeat is coming when their most loyal supporters start posting memes instead of counter arguments.

A coincidence that Zelensky has a meeting with Trump - and then for the first time (that I am aware of) heavily criticises Europe? I dont think so. Having said that, Europe have taken the US protection for granted. It will be a few years before Europe can get to the level required.

Europe quite rightly paying more for energy - starving Russia of income. I don't think energy is a big problem. Ukraine managing to develop and "fuel" drones with reduced energy.
