Her birthday was on Sat. 22/1, instead of being whisked off to her favorite restaurant for a nice meal she was being whisked off in an ambulance (blues and 2s) to Santa Cruz 45 miles away to have her gall bladder removed. I wasn't allowed in the ambulance or to visit her when I travelled up the next morning because Tenerife is/was on a level 4, now thats hard/shit. Not the best holiday I've ever had! Op went well and the fact it was keyhole meant we could fly home as intended the following Saturday. She's doing fine now and is due to return to work next Thursday.
