All roads lead to Gorgie

Very good news for the club as Halkett has definitely improved leaps and bounds this season. He looks a yard quicker and much more switched on and can play a significant part as we push for Europe and the Scottish cup.

Seems like the start of our signing season has been a bit Craigy if you know what I mean . . .

Seriously this is fantastic news. We can stand to lose one of our starting back line but not two or three. Hopefully Kingsley is not far behind.

Good. If Kingsley signs that's minimal disruption if Soapy leaves in January, and maybe makes it more likely we'll accept a fee for him now instead of keeping him. Better be a good fee though. 3rd is worth a lot of money to us.

He has been better this season and will need to keep improving, especially his decision making.
Our defence needs to be stronger though as not to be relying on Gordon as much.

This.

What you state may very well be true but, prior to this season, Halkett has shown himself to be useful in more ways than one.

In this example, Gordon makes a great save but captain Halkett is quicker to the rebound coming from 'nowhere' to stymie Hibs' £3M(?🤭) star striker whilst also preventing a corner. So, he does have a turn of speed and can do more than just heid the ba'.

Good news!

He is getting better, I've never been his biggest fan but this season he has improved immensely, probably due to playing in that central 3 at the back role, hopefully he keeps his form up.

A header he was beaten for in the first place, thought he was imperious in the air 🤔

Craig Halkett appreciation post. Thought he was different gravy again last night. Hope his substitution was a precaution only.
