Lewandowski

Monchengladbach biding their time.   Munich will tire with no experience on the bench.    More goals to come in this match.    Lewandowski will get at least another, maybe two.

That didn't take long, a goal in about five seconds after I posted ☺

You jest but someone on here would say that.

Nonsense. We had Steve McLean banging in goals for fun and he was much older...

Craig Herbertson

Guaranteed he would have one quiet game with a goal and a couple of assists and it would be wage thief, past it, glue factory...

Would it be worth Brechin busting their wage structure for?

Levein could persuade him as long as he steers clear of Stendel for advice.

Phenomenal striker. A lethal goal machine. Averages a goal every 1.09 games for Bayern.

yes. An incredible player, just sublime.  Legend and one I would love to see play

Top striker, Lewandowski.  As for the team of the year, how Ronaldo gets a spot ahead of Benzema is utterly perplexing, actually laughable.  The Frenchman has probably had arguably the best season of his career.

Ronaldo has good PR is probably the answer. :gfy:

Proper legendary player. You hardly ever see strikers with his style in the modern game at the top level. Could put him in any system, any formation with any teammates and he'll be there, in the box waiting to put it in the net by any means necessary

Up there with the best players in Bayern, Dortmund & Bundesliga history, got to be. Consistently scores obscene numbers of goals year after year & does the business in any competition against any opponent. Broken a goal record that nobody thought would ever be broken & won everything at club level. The rate he’s going he’ll be doing it til he’s about 45 as well

Bump:  Just scored a hat-trick in 10 minutes. So not quite as good as Zeefuik….

Zeefuik could have had 3 hat tricks and a pint in that time.

I always like to point out that Zeefuik was the last player to average more than 20 goals a season for Hearts.  13 goals scored in half a season with us, so he averaged 26 goals per season.

It's a bit like asking how many Popes are there per square mile in the Vatican City.  The answer is 2, as the Vatican is approx half a square mile, so 1 Pope per half a square mile equals 2 Popes per square mile.
