I was watching the game yesterday between Cameroon and Ehtiopia and actually thought Ethiopia were playing some decent football, but it all sort of fell to bits when they reached the opposition's penalty area. Can only really hope that once it reaches the knock out stages the quality will increase substantially. It passes time until early February when the Winter Olympicsc will then take over on television, better than watching some of the endless repeats that seem to make up morning/afternoon TV, irrespective of how many channels you have access to. It's no wonder it's been a bit crap, some of the rankings of the teams involved mean it's the equivalent of the Euros having games like Kazakhstan v Latvia, or Andorra v Lithuania in the actual tournament instead of the qualifiers. Guinea on the break, 3 against 1. Ball is squared to the edge of the box, and instead of hitting it, player passes it to another attacker making a run into the box, who instead of hitting it, tries to pass it under the goalkeeper who makes the save, and Senegal somehow get someone in the way and block it.
