All roads lead to Gorgie

Peter Van de Ven.

Only because he once played for us. Apart from that I don't remember much about his short spell at Tynecastle.

I might as well Jump in with Van Halen :ninja:

I remember him being a decent Aberdeen Player but I have this image of their former players being rank rotten when we signed them, Watson and Wyness being the worst. Bett and Van de Ven on the other hand were not too bad although over the hill a bit.

Any kind of current Vauxhall van is utterly dreadful to drive. Clutch biting point up at your knee and the gearbox is awful. Their cars are probably the same.

VW vans probably the best .

Particularly useful if you'd been sent to prison for a crime you didn't commit.

It was only last year that her video of her heading up the Gilmerton Road was doing the rounds. Random! 😄

My first car was an Anglia van, Painted it bright orange with a black roof and a six foot fiberglass aerial on the roof.

The Anglia car had the sloping back window.

FFS showing my age now!

Van Lingle Mungo has to be up there or perhaps Van Chancellor and let's not forget Van McCoy. Do the shuffle baby!

 Loses almost all it's traction when you get it wrong. Of course I should have said do the hustle baby.

Wiped 50% off it's value by taking it out the box. ( though I doubt you will ever sell. )

We used to have a LT35 as our work van. The boss played a blinder with it due to being stupid. The salesman managed to sell him the long wheelbase single axle so it didn’t have a huge payload. But he also convinced him to go for the 2.8 turbo Diesel engine. I saw over 100mph out of it a few times with a full load on the M8 late night
