How many Fillings have you got?

3 and 1 crown.

I've had at least 20 different filling appointments though. They keep falling out. The crown I have is down to one particular filling falling out about 6 times meaning there wasn't much tooth left to fill.

Not had a "new" filling for about 10 years though.

Primary schools used to have dentists that came round in early sixties I’m sure they did fillings for fun mind eating penny dainties and peanut brittle and loads of free puff candy from Ross’s factory right opposite my school Roseburn didn’t help

I dont want perfect teeth. I think my dentist is gorgeous. The only silver lining to my recent dental abscess was spending a short time with her.

😍

You should ask her out. No eating in the date though, you don't want her looking at your teeth instead of you. Then it's settled, the two of you will date and it'll be next week

Do I run it by her husband first or is he best kept in the dark?

Everytime I'm there I always end up singing Shake that ass by Eminem in my head.

Open your mouth for about four or five minutes
Take a little bit of this fluoride rin-inse
Swish, but don't spit it, swallow it and now finish
Yeah!

I'm ashamed to say I've wrecked my teeth from using copious amounts of speed, Ecstasy and cocaine in the early nineties. 😳

Shouldn't be ashamed just part of life

I'm not, just wish I took better care of my teeth. I once had beautiful teeth. Now have a partial denture and I hate it.

Remember them well. Our one used a slow drill which seemed to work on a pulley system. Hellish. Penny dainties  were the dog's b*******

My mum told me that dentists were paid for each filling they did back then.

That's partly why older people have mouths full of mercury.

I needed a filling a few weeks ago, was told if I wanted it done on the NHS I would have to wait until mid February if I went private they could do it within a week.
