England handed 2-match closed doors order

As it says in the title, England have been handed a 2-match closed doors order by UEFA for the unrest during their EUROs final loss to Italy.

1 match is suspended for two years and will come into force if England fans misbehave again during that time.

:naughty:

Fans; breaking into a stadium, fighting with stewards, booing a national anthem, invading the pitch, throwing things on the pitch, setting off fireworks.

FA; failing to prevent any of the above (the hiring of totally untrained stewards needs to be looked at)

Total damage: 1 match closed doors, 100k Euros fine.

Got off lightly.

Reckon thats pretty light considering what happened, especially at the final of a major tournament!

The FA's meally mouthed statement won't help them.

Already some journalists to be fair are piling in reminding people how bad it was. Something like up to 5,000 'fans' broke into the ground. This was a riot not seen anywhere in modern times.

Wembley not fit for purpose, cashed in on all the land around it and now cannot mount a security cordon around the stadium.
