After a summer hiatus when people were busier trying to remember how to go for a pint or speak to other folk without going through a Zoom interface, the nights are drawing in, the tatties need harvested and JKB restarts its Mafia game addiction. A straightforward game (other folk have the good ideas!) with the usual roles and no significant twists. So, whaddaya need to do? Read your imminently arriving PM and start posting. I'll just put in a plea to make sure you keep as active as you can. Goons - the bad guys x3 Can plot together and get a kill each night. Cop Will investigate someone each night. Will get told role of investigated person. Masons - good guys x2 Can discuss together and will get result from the cop (will only be told good/bad or in it for themself) of their investigation. Doctor- can select one player to try and save each night, can't save the same player twice in a row Assassin Has 2 bullets to use in night period. In it for themselves and will win if last roled player. Townies x4 Normal townies who just want to go to the games, but if their team wins they can use a power during the night- or next night. Rules - you can bluff about your role or say your a townie, but anyone who comes right out and says their role will be modkilled , no game chat during the night, can say the usual yes etc Repetitive misbehaviour will result in punishments to that player, dead players must not interfere in the game but can post with humorous intent the usual wooo Any dead players interfering will result in punishments to the dead player's team and awards being giving to the opposite team in the form of anytime investigations or kills I will take the night activities in the order of Doc, Cop, goons, assassin Votes and unvotes must be bold and any edited posts with votes will not be counted, any votes after night is called will not be counted, if there is a lynch before deadline please adhere to normal night rules Remember its only a game so keep it fun and enjoy yourself 😃 Roles will be sent by PM in the next 1/2 hour and will make first deadline 7.30pm Sunday - just to make sure someone doesn't get killed off within the first real day...unless they get voted out! Peakybunnet Posted October 10, 2021 Share Posted October 10, 2021 As a Townie I can surmise whatever I want and in a game with only 12 players there is no way more than one goon would vote another player. So if I get taken out tonight that's the first pattern I would look for. Think I have been taken out day 1 on 3 of the last 4 games all as a townie, so wouldn't be shocked if taken out tonight.
