No doubt it will be starting soon..

Gordon - Celtic want him back

Cochrane - Rangers link, wants to follow in the footsteps of Goldson

Souttar - linked to both of them as their centre backs are shite.

Kingsley - Celtic link, looking for a free kick expert

Beni - Rangers link, some spurious shite about Walter Smith father figure and Everton

Devlin - Celtic link, just because he is an Aussie and will be promised a national team spot if he plays for them

Mckay - Rangers link, always wanted to come back to them drivel

Moore - both arse cheeks linked because he can replace Tavernier and the shite Celtic have at the back

Our lickspittle, sycophantic, OF rimming media will aid and abet anything that keeps the bigots at the top. When the English media started backing Leicester it was great to see and it was great for English football that they won it, I can't see that happening here despite it being the best thing that could possibly happen in Scottish football for decades.

Loan players - pre contracts and recall to home clubs -   and Souttar likely to attract attention up to new year if things continue well.

Simulation is always a staple.

Anything to influence refs e.g making it seem the refs are falling for the dark arts.

Players misquoted/comments skewed(already happened with Devlin)

"Joe Savage in secret discussions to become new Ibrox sporting director".  Record sport understands that Savage, a dyed in the wool Rangers fan, would jump at the chance to move along the M8 to join his boyhood heroes.

Hearts slap huge price price tag on want-away star

Hearts attempt to warn off bidders for unsettled ace [insert name here], whose dream big club move may been thwarted. [Insert name here] has dreamed of playing for Rangers since he was a zygote. Now frustrated be perennial soccer whores Hearts and their totally unreasonable demands of 37p for [insert name here] who has a mere two years and eleven months of contract still to run.

Sources close to the the player reveal his frustration as he wanted the best years of his career at lowly Hearts. Rangers deny unsettling the [insert name here], but are always looking to strengthen. Kris Boyd commented "He would fit well in with Rangers, and must have dreamed of such a move all his life. It's sheer arrogance that Hearts stand in his way. Time and again it's the same with these provincial clubs who just don't know their place."

It has started already. This is from today's Record quoting the Mail on Sunday:

John Souttar transfer chase 'heats up' as Hearts star linked with replacing brother Harry at Stoke

And a bit further down:

"The report also states Rangers remain long-term admirers of the cultured defender who will be free to talk to other teams in January."

What if he gets a bad injury in April. He’s out of contract the following month.
unless he gets a pre-contract deal in Jan (with no injury clause) he would be goosed.
it makes sense to sign a contract extension with exit clause.
gives him insurance against late injury, gives us a payoff if he gets a big offer.
that’s a win-win and should just be a case of agreeing terms and exit level.
I trust Joe Savage to get this over the line.

Maybe the weegie rags will have more luck moving on Hearts players than persuading clubs to buy Morelos.

Totally agree and would love this to happen, also hope we offer an appropriate contract to his level, even if that is in the knowledge he will be gone in the summer. Part of me thinks he should have some morale responsibility to pay back Hearts support during his tough times while fully understanding he needs to sort himself out over a relatively short football career.

Ideal scenario as it looks likely he won't be here next august - he resigns, then we pickup a transfer fee in the summer with a wee cheeky sell on clause

The Treasurer

According to the daily weeg, Boyce's decision to choose not to play for NI in order to be with his young family and concentrate on his own health is him "snubbing his country"

Funny that is never the case when OF players pull out of international squads

Hearts ace John Souttar would join Rangers 'at the drop of a hat' to move up a level, ex-Ibrox boss says

That's a genuine one from today

Read that.  Typically of the Sc*m newspaper, it twists the words of McLeish to suit its agenda in the form of its headline.  McLeish actually says:

“It’s been a long time since anyone outside the Old Firm won the league. Certainly, Souttar is suited to going a bit further in his career.

“The Jambos will do everything to keep him. He’s a good servant to them, they’ve helped him to recuperate.

“He’d probably keep that in mind, but at the end of the day, you know what it’s like in football these days. People will move on at the drop of a hat.”

Can't stand that paper and its plastic journalists.

Yeah read that also our Craig has also been touted for the arse cheeks. Its time we banned the media from Tynie. They aren't even trying to be neutral. Mind you it's been like that for 40 years so highly unlikely to change now. Still don't get why any self respecting Hearts fan would even buy those low brow rags.

Interesting to see the change in tone now that the TheRangers game is out of the way.

There seems to be a change away from unsettling our players with spurious links to OF transfers to having "pundits" falling over themselves to tell us we cannot win the league, even with 10 million, or 25 million, expect a full blown rant about how Newcastles £200million warchest wouldn't even get us a Europa place
