I fecking love The Day Today, absolute genius.

Yet, for all the smart satire my favourite clip from it was this; so stupid and yet so funny.

😆  Chris Morris can make anything funny

Probably the best line...

I can't help noticing that you are deficient in the leg department, to the tune of one

I prefer “I’ve got nothing against your right leg. Trouble is, neither have you!”

Playing real darts in the background :D First time I've noticed that.

I really liked Mel smith . One if those comedy actors I just had to look it and I’d laugh . Taken too young really .

one of their many great scenes

Can't find a good link for it but the Watership Down scene is brilliant too. Like you say, there are too many

Sadly missed ! Caroline Aherne a classic.

"what first attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels?" Classic but anyone going on there had to know what she was going to be like.

But some didn't take her approach so well as Debbie McGee did despite the fact they must have known what the questioning was going to be like. Saw Chris Eubank being interviewed by her. And his reaction was enough to prompt her to ask are you going to hit me?

Oh, how I miss the comedy from that era. Hard to find any decent comedians these days.
