Johnny Cummings 7 for a start.

Thats not far short of Hibs total bearing in mind they’ve only won the Scottish Cup twice and not thrice as they claim.

John cumming 2 x League titles.

1 x Scottish Cup

4 x league cups.

Barely gets a mention when talking about great Scottish players by the West coast media. Yet the man came from Carluke.

But was he a prodie? That sells papers over on the dates idea better than facts.

Love this type of thread . Mr John Cumming will never be beaten. Proud to be a family friend .:flag1:

Lucky, lucky you.  Are you aware of the thunderbolt he scored at ER in a 4-0 win?  Before McGowan struck it was my favourite Hearts goal.

Stating the obvious ? but it’s two categories right :

Guys with trophies just won while at Hearts would be mostly the 50s / 60s guys like Cumming & Mackay I,d have thought. ( without researching 🙂)

While the Hearts players who won stuff including outwith Hearts Sandy Jardine, Alex MacDonald seem to spring to the top of the list.

Pre WW2 players are disadvantaged as there was no League Cup in their time. Need a table excluding League Cup in my view.

Delighted to see Isaac Begbie so far up the list though.

There’s always a shout for a statue for Dave Mackay -and rightly so.

However John Cumming must also be worthy of a shout too?
I didn’t get to see either but with all the stories I’ve heard from family and friends I bloody wish I had , imagining it can only get me so far .

Didn't Andy Webster get a medal in 2006 although he didn't play in the final?

By my reckoning Jankuaskas also has 12 major trophies (not counting super cups, second tier trophies, etc).  Won across 4 countries plus European.

For whole career Craig Gordon probably tops the list.

13 going by wikipedia. I haven't counted the Scottish Championship. Some of his cup wins listed with Celtic may have been as an unused sub, which I guess count but feel soft.

Cheers. That would give him three overall.

Steve Banks has same tally.

The watney cup!  Half man half biscuit have a song with that in it and didn't know what it was.  I thought it was rugby league.

Brilliant.  You've let me know what I've been singing for years.
