Wonder if he couldn't handle the smell of the place.

I’d leave as well. Nothing worse than the smell of B.O. and foosty clothes.

Fair point, have you heard something?

Just assumed this was a transition type job that had went sideways behind the scenes.

Exactly.

Yeah, I dont think its any suspicious reason, its what they said, but doesn't mean Celtic are in any less trouble. They needed stability after a year of things going wrong. They built the new CEO up as someone who will fix everything. Thats lasted 2 months and they have to start all over again. They have to do a big hunt for a new CEO which could take a while.

Doncaster maybe do both roles, SPFL and Celtic? They've already been cleared to have Strachan at 2 clubs in the same league division.

It would certainly take away the pretence of him not aiding and abetting the Celtic shenanigans.

For that to happen Celtic would have to think he is good at his job, they know hes not and that suits them with the SPFL.

A fair point. He'll do far more damage to Celtic's opponents where he is.

Celtic want someone inside the tent pissing out, not someone outside the tent pissing in. Neil Doncaster is that person.

Correct, it’s been coming for years (not the child abuse shit either),

Council corruption case 😉

Just seen the Daily Record report he jumped before being pushed, sounds like he fell out with key people over changes he was trying to make. This could be fun.

Interesting. Trying to vacuum the rug rather than sweep stuff under it? Or maybe he didn’t have much say in Dundee’s technical director becoming Sellick’s whatever the **** he’s meant to be doing there (with no conflict of interest, obviously).

Suppose this is why they might need a legal director.

Land deals presumably but haven’t these been investigated previously by Audit Scotland and the police?

I do wonder if Lawell never really left, and Dom has found out that he is not really in charge.

Did we ever find out why Lawell’s  house was attacked?

Don't believe it's for health/family reasons, other than those that go with job, and suspect that he didn't like what he saw, plus probable lack of executive power that should go with the job.

The Scotsman came out with this classic piece of incomprehensible nonsense:

"It is understood that the “personal reasons” centre on a lack of conviction from the Celtic board that McKay, who left his role as chief operating officer at the Scottish Rugby Union to take on his now vacated post, was the right fit for the club."

https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/celtic/dominic-mckays-shock-celtic-exit-to-be-catalyst-for-more-change-as-details-emerge-over-reasons-for-departure-3379552

So sacked for being incompetent then. If true, imagine a club hiding behind the "personal reasons" tag (that everyone knows can mean serious private issues) to justify a sacking - and not getting called out for it.

That whole piece actually reads like a Celtic press release, trying to spin this into a change for the good and not a failure of management.

I thought the coach might bale after that Q&A with the fans rep bams.

*Celtic supporters are sinister.

I've always thought this. Rangers are louder and more open, Celtic are sneaky and more sinister. Both a shower of nasty *****. Obviously not all Rangers and Celtic fans are lovers of bigotry, but they don't shout it down either.

 leaves Scottish Rugby and then this.

he probably tried to sort out the scum element and got told that will cost them money.  Time the SG, Wm, UEFA and FIFA did something about this, it's our racism and needs wiped out.

It could well be Tazio. However with that manky mob's history you cannot blame folk for thinking the way they do.

No. I gather there was a bust up with their dear leader Desmond over sanctioning unauthorised signings. And him with the heated driveway is still hanging about. He was probably scratching his head at wgs pitching up too lmao.

Proper dumpster fire of a club.
