The Man U game is very Europa League. Poor quality on show imo.

I prefer watching the Goals Show on BT Sport 1, as you get updates on the key incidents in all the games.

Only just catching up. For Atalanta's 2nd Maguire missed what would've been a superb defensive goal-saving tackle by a split-second; probably the time he lost waving his arm in the air claiming offside. Play to the whistle ... there's always VAR these days! (04:09 - 05:00)

Atalanta v Manchester United (2-2) | Ronaldo resc…:

One of the good things about the group stages is getting to spot future talents who will perhaps move to the bigger leagues or bigger clubs in future seasons

Mudryk of Shaktar may be one....midfield/forward

A not very good red card decision and Dortmund down to 10 men

Ajax player rolling around as if he had been shot when at worst it was a yellow.

Liverpool in charge but not out of sight

Edit Dortmund get a penalty...sympathy decision perhaps and 1-0 Dortmund

Madrid down to 10 men.....cynical challenge though a red could be deemed harsh however no real attempt to play the ball

Liverpool ref seems abit nervy but can't say he's done much wrong..

other than miss a fair few AM ankle swipes from behind ..

Liverpool goals both class..

Have to say though, Liverpool home strip this season is absolutely gopping.

It's not hard to make a classic liverpool top... yet they've failed this year.

(first and foremost I'm a jambo, Liverpool my glory hunting mid 80's pre teen team thats stuck. )

Chelsea sweep Juventus away. Thomas Tuchel has really made them an excellent team.

We don't get the CL on Sky here now or the EPL, but based on results and reports, Chelsea seem to be outstanding.

Hard to imagine they won't win at least one trophy this season.

I have to say the Champions League looks as weak a competition as it's been in the last decade, there really isn't much in there at all.

The Spanish and Italian teams look rotten this year

it seems like bayern, chelsea, man city, liverpool, psg and ajax are the only ones performing to any level and you could say at least in the CL, man city, psg and maybe liverpool are not at the level of the other three i listed yet based on performances

Been very underwhelmed by PSG, you would think that with the level of players they’ve managed to bring together (both in ability and mentality) that they would be able to sort things out between them without much need for management input.

The fact that Sergio Ramos hasn’t actually made his debut yet will be a factor I’m sure

your last point i was just about to reply with, bring him into the side not only will they be even better defensively but he carries a big threat in the oppositions box. then if they can get messi firing they should be unstoppable

Hearts could do with just one fully justified  big ego. Is that too much to ask ?

Mbappe - real deal or fast runner playing in a poor league?

Messi - real deal or made to look good by free kicks and Zavi and Iniesta.

Mbappe aged 22. World Cup winner.

Have a look at this recent game.

Kleberson won a world cup at 23.

Kazakhstan are rubbish.

Both just devil's advocate...I haven't watched enough of him to know. He's hyped up as one of the best in the world though and I've never seen him stand out in a game against top opponents but that could just be off days.

I reckon he'd get 10-15 goals a season in the EPL.

As don't understand Turkish fortunately, commentators are just excitable.

Man City doing everything but scoring. PSG stick with being counter attacking without the counter attacks.

Time will tell.

Kleberson didn't do 2 assists and a goal in final. But agree Mbappe often goes through games not doing very much.

He might look better next year at Real Madrid.

i've just seen sebastian haller the west ham flop has scored his 9th champions league goal of the season in five games to go level with lewandowski in the top scorer charts for this season

It's amazing how some players just don't seem to click at certain clubs despite doing well elsewhere and then other players are amazing at one club but never really do it anywhere else.

Haller arrived with a good reputation if memory serves me at West Ham.

Certainly a real finish with conviction from Mbappe for his goal. Took it really well against an imposing keeper.

He heard at half time JKB was questioning his impact on the game.

I hope I get a name drop in his post match interview:

This is where the offside rule is wrong in some instances and been mucked about with too much. Pretty sure Jesus is offside at Rodri’s ball to Walker.  It means he’s advanced and gained an advantage when the ball comes in.

It hits him on the way to Sterling.

Or...le Taffin a un point. Le PSG ne joue pas avec mes atouts.
