Reduce Hibs allocation.

With the red zone affecting two stands and therefore reducing the overall stadium capacity might we reduce the away end V Hibs to 2/3 of Roseburn or 1/3. There were approx over 16,000 Hearts fans at the game on Sunday.  If Hibs get full allocation then some Hearts fans may miss out on a ticket ?

I think Hibs is unique that the derby is better when both teams get a full end. Uglies and everyone else can stay in that corner forever as far as I am concerned

By cutting their allocation we are further cutting the overall attendance as segregation will be needed. Hibs are the only ones who should get the full stand.

Given that even if we give hibs the full Roseburn all our season ticket holders will be able to attend there’s no reason we shouldn’t give them the full stand. All that would happen is they would end up doing the same to us at new year.

All the season ticket holders from the red zone were in the roseburn on Sunday I thought? If not there where would they go?

Just think this red zone thing is OTT.

There are seats directly behind each dugout that are never sold. Can the subs not sit there with masks on? They go home to their families after the match and no doubt socialise with friends etc and go out to restaurants.

Closing about half of the lower Main Stand seems rather extreme.

Assuming those moved from the red zones can get seats in the other three stands then Hibs should get the full end.

The other stands aren't sold out with season ticket holders so it would no doubt mean we're all put elsewhere for the derby game. Must be a logistical nightmare for the ticket office.

I don't understand the distancing from fellow players in the stands. They train together, get changed in the same dressing room, go onto the park after games and shake hands/cuddle etc.

It's more to keep spectators away from players and officials

I think there should be mutual agreement/understanding by both clubs to give full stand for derbies for away fans.

Happy to cut old firm tickets to annoy them them but think hibs/hearts there should be hatred but elemwnt mutual respect for the Edinburgh Derby that includes away allocation protection.

Disagree, our season ticket holders will fit inside the 3 stands plus extra for walk ups.

Give Hibs the school end and don’t ruin the derby like the old firm have .

Season Ticket Holders would still get in so cant see us reducing their allocation.

Also dont understand why we would want to. Derby Atmosphere is better with a full away stand at both Tynie and ER.

Also we would have to put in segregation etc so would more than likely reduce overall capacity.

Was it not that, the entire 2 lost sections were just copy/ pasted so everyone got to sit next to their same friends and families? Otherwise they’ll all be scattered into solo seats or small batches of seats around the other stand, which is a lot of hassle.

I think if there’s a red zone then Hibs will get half the stand and we’ll leave it up to them if they want to tit for tat. It’s only due to the red zone we’re doing it so that may be the case at Easter road as well. Up to them what they do. They will get the full end when the stadium is at full capacity

Yep. I was moved. I sit with 2 others and we sat together plus we saw a few familiar faces who we usually sit by in the lower Main Stand which was nice.

Hate Hibs with a passion but it's got to be a full stand. Can't wait to see the reaction of our new boys, even last seasons recruits.

It's a tricky one, adding segregation would looses alot of sellable seats and will need additional stewarding.

A full allocation for them would have to come with a guarantee that we would get the same at ER

Full stand if possible. Rangers ruined the old firm doing similar. Any season ticket holders moved should be in an alternative seat in main stand and not moved behind goal

No, Hibs get full end - it makes for a better atmosphere.

We get full end when we go there.

We are not the bigot brothers.

Surely any gentlemans agreement went down the tubes last year with their vote. **** them give them half the stand. They wont retaliate as they need our money 😏

Dont see the problem.

Crowd on Sunday 17400

Aberdeen fans 1400

An extra 2000 for Hibs fans

Leaves 14000 for Hearts fans we only have 12500 ST holders.

1500 for a public sale, might even be more actually.

Back to what it was before the New Stand was opened.

As others have said the derby game is special and deserves a special atmosphere.

It's not the same when nearly everyone is cheering for the same team.

Oldest top flight derby in the world. The atmosphere and intense rivalry needs retained so I’d give them a full end if practical.

Bazzas right boot

I'd cut them back to half.

More Hearts fans the better.

If we can sell ours, we should put our own first.

Suspect segregation would be an issue th.

Get the corners filled in, then give them a corner only!

What's the Red Zone for?

It always adds more atmosphere to the stadium when there is a big away support

Give them the full stand, is there a way we could restrict the amount of concessions we give then though?  Would rather as many of them pay £30+ as possible.

It won’t be a full stand in the true sense of the word anyway.

I can see bottom two rows empty right along the stand and a closed off bit at the bottoms of H and M.

Probably an allocation of around 2800.

3,500 of them watching their team lose  oh yes.

Or whatever they are allowed.

I’m one of the displaced and sitting in the roseburn on Sunday was the pits,  especially when looking at the spacing in blocks Q and R,  there was two rows of seats directly behind the dug outs with no one in them,  more than enough room to cater for the subs and coaches.  Surround those areas with Perspex and wallah those displaced season ticket holders are back in the seats they have chosen to pay for.  Another point,  the press were inside the “red zone” how come?   The red zones are a farce.  Really, what’s the point of the one round the wheatfield tunnel,  the away staff hardly hang around in that area for 15 minutes,  they are no further away from the crowd who are sitting in the front row all round the touch lines.

A bit of a rant of my chest but I really didn’t like being sat next to sheep,  it will be even more painful if I’m sat in the roseburn for the hibs game.

Well said, if the incompetent JRG cant get the job done we will need to do it. Let’s hope our season ticket cards work and they have the full kiosks in the main stand open with more than Mince pies, water and Capri sun on sale.

That’s wrong on so many counts,  ageism and disability for a start.
