McEneff has been behind him all pre season. He was about to come on against Celtic as well.

Cochrane playing at LCB doesn’t fill me with confidence having watched him there a couple of times previously. I’d prefer Haring in the back 3 and Halliday in beside Beni.

I noticed last week that Haring looked a bit laboured in his movement a couple of times, not sure if he would be mobile enough to play in a back three.

That bench is a bit lightweight. Still need a few signings for the squad.

Or trust the youngsters. 😄

If there was any doubt about the need for a few more players, that bench confirms it

Agreed 100%-this has to be never forgotten as he dominates more or less every thread with same old same old, Neilson probably is like a cat but running out of lives, Hearts have to put in a performance today no doubt about it, I hope they do but am not sure what his tactics will be.

Maybe there should be a limit to the amount of posts you can post each day. It would mean he would have to be a bit more considered in his posting instead of just spamming the board. It would give him time find a life for himself. Thoughts @Smith's right boot? Fancy getting out a bit more?

Can I suggest you all put @Smith's right booton ignore?

It seems to be the sensible solution to your problem.

If you don’t put him on ignore would you please stop moaning about his posts or the number of them?

Every team in the league seems to have a weak bench this season.

Indeed. The idea that you have to have enough experienced players to have 7 such on the bench even when a couple of experienced guys are temporarily out is crazy.

At St. Mirren

League: Hearts 32-46 in 110 games,

Cup: Hearts 2-3 in 8 games,

League Cup: Hearts 1-3 St. Mirren in 8 games.

Total: Hearts 35-52 St. Mirren in 126 games.

Not great but our record at Tynecastle puts us way ahead in total.

Courtesy of London Hearts. 👍

Popescu and ourselves must have something lined up imminent. It'd be silly not to have him on the bench even if he is a bombscare.

Devlin will also help.

I think it'll be a really tough one today. They'll play two up front, direct football to Main to feed Brophy.

Maybe we can keep more of the ball in midfield and create more chances. Defo see goals today IMO

Ahhh explains things. Think he'll be used sparingly, and maybe a loan for the 2nd half of the season if he isnt getting many minutes with us.

Quite excited about Devlin from seeing Aussie responses. My uncle is a ref supervisor for the A League and he said the guy is too good for our league and won't be here long.

Boyces beard

looks like 4-3-3 to me, i dont think he would play Haring in a back 3 atm. If we are sticking with the 3 at the back maybe Cochrane in the back 3 and halliday out to the left wingback role

He hates Rangers more than Hibs apparently. So wanted Hibs to beat them in the final, which they did. He was very pleased.

That's just weird for me. No time for Rangers but I'd want them beating the vermin every day in a cup final.

Good post. There are a bunch of posters on here who can’t take alternative views, particularly anything at odds with their “Neilson is a shite manager” narrative.

Bench is weak, but youth do get  a chance and 1st term exposure is never bad for them.

Robbies random changes from week to week was a bug bear of mine last time round.

Hopefully the changes pay off.
