is the rail strike affecting all routes?

Yes, apart from the Bathgate route. Trains are one an hour on this route and the last one leaves Waverley at 18.55, so Haymarket at 18.59.

Last train will be rammed as well.

Get to Waverley in plenty of time.

Haymarket is a shambles the last couple of Bathgate route.

Is the strike an "all day" strike?  I thought the strike was early morning and late night trains.  Both Livi North and Livi South routes.

There will be no Livi South trains.

Why are they striking ?

Conductors are wanting better overtime rates for working on their rest days. Something that drivers are already currently getting.

I half suspect, due to Covid and losing their tender soon, Scotrail have decided it's cheaper to just not run the trains and have no intention of settling this.
