The team was a mix of senior and youth players, Popescu, McEneff, Roberts, Henderson, C Smith, Watson, Pollock Denholm, Flatman and Tait all played some part. Entire 1st team (excluding those at Euros) are in Leicester / Seagrave and they also have promising U21s training with them to supplement numbers. Nobody near senior first team squad will be in Edinburgh. I’d guess (and it is a guess) those in Edinburgh will be mainly new recruits, they’ve signed X2 from ManUre, X1 Liverpool & a goalie from Hartlepool (who is meant to be very promising) and others. I’d imagine this is a get to know the staff and fellow players type trip / bonding session. Leicester are investing a lot of money in players 3+ years short of U21 to create a bigger pool of potential first team Club Grown players.
