How nice is that Sparta away top. Hearts please take note for next year.

Not hard is it?

Bloody cracking top yet we get some blue leftover material job...

So Rangers need to win by 2 goals to qualify as will have head to head advantage even if last results go against them.

Though not if Brondby beat Lyon.

A kick in the balls on the way out wouldn't go amiss either...

I know there will be contractual obligations and template issues with suppliers etc but honestly a lot of the designs on here are far superior. Some absolute crackers year on year.

Looks like a goal is coming.

A Prague goal and 2-1 means they would win head to head on away goals.

(If Sparta beat Brondby and Rangers lose to Lyon).

Ange's Celtic is a bit of a wake-up call hopefully to the Hearts fans who want us to always "have a go" and who think we should all out attack all the time under Neilson. You know, the folk who complain we only win 3-1 instead of 4-1, or who lose their shit completely if we draw away from home.

Sometimes you want to just close out the win or settle for a point and be more pragmatic, rather than risking what happened to Celtic today.

Ange like Cathro and Stendel seems very much style over results. he'll probably still potentially win the league in Scotland through sheer financial clout but it's Europe where he'll be judged.

Absolute embarrassment of a football club.  Embarrassment to Scotland. Surely there can’t be a more hate fuelled, sectarian, petty, scummy club on the planet?

And with a new all Dutch management team they have another opportunity to have an orange 2nd / 3rd kit...

Or get totally pissed of that RN cannot start/change his plans throughout a game when things are obviously not working away from home.

Hopefully Sevco stay in Europe and Sellik now play in some conference pish league in Europe, all a distraction for our challenge, we will never have a better chance IMO, whether the coaching staff are good enough to do it, I have my doubts, the depth in the sqaud is there, is the belief.....

We will have far better chance for a challenge Tbh.

One summer transfer window after promotion is not the best chance we'll ever have.

No where near it in fact, it's a dream.

We are not challenging for the league this season, 3rd would be an achievement.

If we were going to challenge for the league this season was the season to do it. The Old Firm both have new managers in place and their form has been very inconsistent. We won't have a better chance.

Glad Celtic are out. Shame the other bunch of scumbags qualified.

Celtic are still in Europe and likely with a much better chance of progressing than Rangers.  Farcical but true.

...so, shellick are out but drop down into the Euro Conference League/Cup/Thingy.... when they feck this up, do they just keep dropping down into something else?... this must be their longest Euro involvement for ages. Talk about rewards for failures!... mind you, I wonder if they could possibly be out of 3 Euro competitions before Christmas... that would be a spectacular failure on a whole new level. 🤣🤣🤣

I don’t think the knockout games in the Conference are until after Christmas.  The new European formats are a pile of shite, you wonder what goes through people’s heads thinking this is a good idea.  The Conference is devalued by Europa League failures dropping into and the Europa League devalued by Champions League failures dropping into it. As for teams like Celtic starting off in the CL and ending up in the 3rd tier Conference - wtaf?!  And they must actually be a bit embarrassed about it.

...you would think! Gutted the KO games are in the New Year... would really have been funny to se them knocked out of all 3 comps prior to Christmas!

I'm not a lover of the Euro safety-net formats either... completely devalues, them as you say.

Shite.

All made up in your head.

Rangers have lost 1 and won 9 out of 13 games.

That is not "very inconsistent." It's the opposite of that. It's very consistent.

Celtic after a poor start are also very consistent.

We are also not good enough, we don't have a  good enough squad to be champions.

Is it also Dundee utds, Hibs, Motherwells or Aberdeens best chance to win the league?

Nonsense. Rangers have conceded more goals already this season than they did the whole of last season. They've dropped points to teams they were hammering last year and got pumped last Sunday by a very average Hibs side.

Ditto Celtic in the league.

Whether you like it or not, this was the season to have a go at the league.

Well always have a go, but being champions is a long shot.

We'd be doing something better teams have not achieved and you think it's our best chance after promotion, covid and 1 proper transfer window.

Take yourself away and sit down in the corner

Not even a dreamer, just pure fantasy.

I never said we should or could win it. But if we were going to then this was the season to do it. Performances like the ones we suffered at Pittodrie and Fir Park have ensured that it won't happen though.

The team has done as I might expect. Good performances but then hit problems when other teams play really well or cause problems as Aberdeen and Motherwell did.

It's not yet really a great team. There are still issues both in defence and attack.

3rd or 4th would be a good base to build on.
