White Chicks.

Or maybe Zardoz.

Although the Omen remake is right up there due to the wooden acting.

So many but the one most fresh in my mind is Bill and Teds new one.  I lasted 22 minutes.

Special mention to 'Swiss Army Man' utterly horrendous film.

been here before

Some films are just so bad, so absolutely awful that they become essential viewing:

Who Dares Wins

Firefox

Escape To Victory

Too close to call

:what:

A ****ing tremendous film.  I also like funny people as it plays the genius that is John Lennon throughout.

Plan 9 from Outer Space falls into that category, became a cult movie and they even made a movie about the director, Ed Woods.

Who Dares Wins should’ve been a decent movie but it was an embarrassment.

Malinga the Swinga

Took my daughters to see Bratz the Movie. The worst film by far that I have ever seen. Made the S Club 7 film seem like an Oscar winner.

The new Bill and Ted was an absolute travesty of a movie. I loved the first two as well.

Judge Dredd x 2

Troy

Clash of the Titans (in fact any film made that is based on Greek,  Roman or Egyptian mythology or actual events*)

In all cases the story is there but the production and faith in the story was thrown in the bin by the film makers/studios.

*300 is a good romp but also disappointed in the end.

Do you mean the remake of Clash of the Titans or the original or both?

:what:

Wind your ****ing neck in, von Carstein.

The 1963 Jason and the Argonauts and 1981 Clash of the Titans are absolute classics. Ray Harryhausen was a genius.

Get turned to stone ya ****.

Sam Worthington...anything pre 2000 is a classic, post that period, the technology was generally there to provide an amazing telling of the stories in style of avatar, star trek etc

The English Patient

Sleepless in Seattle.

For the record, I loved the 1963 film, Jason and the Argonauts, especially the fight between three Greek warriors and the skeletons that grew from the Hydra's teeth.  The special effects considering the era were excellent.

Fair enough. Thought you meant the original.

I met RH and his wife at The Dominion for a screening of The Argonauts.

Exorcist 2 : The Heretic (1977) consists of that fine actor Richard Burton shouting through most of it . Follow up film for Louise Fletcher after her Cuckoos nest success . Her career dive bombed after this disaster .

The Swarm  (1978) all star disaster film about killer bees which  waz correctly labelled a disaster in every way

Mommie Dearest (1981) Faye Dunaway chewing the curtains , floor and doors as the manic Joan Crawford in this biography . Very bad .

The Greasy strangler (2016) it’s so bad it’s actually good ! Cant really describe it !

Taking budget and hoo-ha into account it has to be World War Z, for me.

A globetrotting, poorly scripted and acted, stinker of a movie.

Seen no budget zombie films on the Horror Channel that are better.

Eraserhead. No f’n idea what it was about

The Wolf of Wall Street. Did not like one person in it. Wanted them all to die
However the prize must go to an 80’s gem called Natas, The Reflection.

A group of kids go to a ghost town called Natas and all get killed. The last shot is of the town sign reflected in a puddle. It reads........

I must take issue with your nomination of WoWS...we must have watched that film 20 times or more...when we are struggling for something to watch we usually look at each other and say "Again?".

Love the film...

To be fair Greasy Strangler is a particular genre of film and a fine example of its type.

The Conqueror takes some beating. John Wayne's accent is (unintentially) hilarious and the dialogue is toe-curling. Best (or worst) but not on this clip is when he comes out with, "They call me Ghenghis Khan."

I know that I'm in a minority here, especially as it won the Best Picture Oscar, but I found it boring. Put it down to my lack of taste.  :biggrin2:
