Bouchard ? Think she got to one semi final ? Was viewed as the next best thing but never made the big break through , pundits predicated for her . The commentary team does need a shake up though . Get rid of Claire Balding and John Inverdale for a start . Mac is excellent and down to earth . Love him . Becker was great too . Andrew Cotter too . Martina, Tracy Austin and Annabelle Croft . Yep 👍 i still prefer the old school ones like the great “ oh I say “ Dan Maskell . He was the quintessential English man . He was so knowledgable about tennis and very respectful to the ladies referring to them as “ Miss “ or “ Mrs “ . I like that he was so fashioned that he referred to Martinas then partner Judy Nelson as her “ friend “ God bless him 🤣 John Barrett is missed too . Ann Jones was an excellent commentator too and Gerald Williams who used to do the late night show round up kept it all together .
PortyJambo Posted Friday at 08:47 Posted Friday at 08:47 Sonay Kartal is going to miss the whole grass court season, including Wimbledon, with her back injury. With Draper still not back yet, although he is meant to be playing next week in Stuttgart, it's not been a good year for British tennis players so far! Raducanu, Fearnley, Fran Jones, and now even Norrie, have all had injury issues too.
rudi must stay Posted Friday at 13:26 Posted Friday at 13:26 Very even match so far between Mensik and Zverev

What dark times has she gone through did somebody not give her a bottle of water or she didn't get the right ball?
