Nucky always keeps it jovial. Pokes fun but takes it back in a good spirit.
Too many get all bent out of shape over it at times.

I’ll include myself in that ☺️

I keep reminding myself that, to quote our "Uruguayan" correspondent, it's just a message board and we are all Hearts fans at the end of the day.

It's sometimes not easy given the utter horse cack some of them post, it goes beyond banter on occasion and is just incoherent typing with their fists.

I'm raging about the referendum that no political party actually want and are not going to have for many years.

 There’s a couple in general that just aren’t worth engaging with. They don’t want to discuss anything and If they did engage they’d be the thread punchbags.

I’m sure you wouldn’t want to look stupid again so I’d love you to back that post up. Should be easy and won’t take long considering what you’ve wrote.

It’s fascinating stuff. SNP had a great election but they are all over these threads repeatedly going on about it and how broken everyone else is. Win or lose they just seem unable to move on without exposing the chip on their shoulder time and time again.

Says the "Better Together" cheerleader, you guys have stopped the smugness of that result eh?

More than a few of your compadres are never done trawling for bites on these threads.

Tragically chippy. :)

I love it. Its an amazing feat that they can type with such accuracy round about the dripping years and snotters. One can even spread covid without missing a step.

The Guinness book of world records should be contacted, immediately!

I live "comfortably" because I've worked since i was 16, went to night classes to helped me get better jobs as a result...and worked my arse off for my family.

Feck all to do with being in the UK.

Has anyone come up with a convincing reason why the Scottish electorate shouldn't be allowed to choose it's own government yet?

Yeah

It'll be like kicking the can down the road

Edinburgh would probably vote differently from Glasgow so someone will end up with a government they don't want

You are moaning about not getting the government you want

So you must think you will get what you want in an iScotland

Great - but not everyone will- so what has been solved ?

Scotland is and will be dictated by the Weeg vote. Whatever they vote for will be the government.

Well that's one hell of a misrepresentation.

I'm not moaning about not getting the government I want, I'm moaning about the ancient nation of Scotland not getting the government it wants. Your Edinburgh/Glasgow counter was very weak, it is what it is.

Well you didn't vote Tory did you ?

If you did then that question probably wouldn't even enter your head

Anyway it's Saturday

I would take my chances against a Sturgeon/Harvie Yes campaign.

I think the No side can peel away a lot of former Yes-voters from last time. Especially working class men.

Would require a lot of campaigning but I think it can be done.

I think you could make the same argument for the Yes campaign...Douglas Ross would be a very devisive figure if not a vote loser...

Someone else should lead the campaign, not Ross.

Alistair Darling was an absolute bore compared to the star power of Salmond.

Boring campaigns usually do better with voters than flashy celebrity endorsed ones.

The UK has provided you an environment in which your hard work has been rewarded by a comfortable life, Konnie. 👍

If it takes a yacht at the foot of your garden to be comfortable, I'd suggest that citizenship of the UK is pretty far down your list of concerns. :(

Your sense of humour is working just fine, Konnie, but your irony/sarcasm/satire detector could maybe do with some fine tuning. 👍
