Do they still do Caramac eggs? I'd settle for a faceful of those.

I'm always slightly disappointed when the sweeties aren't contained in the egg. That was Easter of my childhood; opening the egg and finding a bag of Smarties or Jelly Tots had been encased. Often the egg was two half shells rather than sealed but it still helped me understand the miracle of birth.

Very possibly; easier to manufacture/assemble so bigger margins for the chocolate companies.

Bigger the egg, bigger the rip off in price. Better just buying bar of chocolate as almost half the price for same amount. 

Read over weekend that one Hotel Chocolate egg had same fat level as 12 Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

this is the only one I found with caramac in it.
