Can anyone recommend a Financial Advisor they’ve used for a one off?

I’ve tried numerous ones but they only want to deal with people on an ongoing basis.

I am seeking pension advice and only need a one off opinion.

cheers

:) Sadly, we can't stand against the tide of the Americanisation of our language, Morgan.

The weekly corporate updates we receive from our American CEO are a veritable litany of linguistic ballbaggery.

I think that's fairly standard at the moment. Surprisingly, the markets have been going up despite the present global situation.

To be fair, it’s a ‘blue sky idea’ and should be ‘ran up the flagpole’ at the earliest convenience.

In my last job we used to have "Town Hall" meetings and our team would have a game of bullshit bingo to score off all these phrases the CEO would drop into his conversation.

“Town Hall’ meetings is a new one on me, Frank.  That’s absolutely horrendous, but unsurprising, to me.  I worked with some right @rseholes who spoke this way all the time.

One in particular liked everything to be ‘going forward’ and asked us all for ‘idea showers’.

Vocalisations with hieroglyphics as representations.

Not trying to be mr clever clunt, but really, are any of our linguistic variations more valid than others?

Ken! :whistling:

Time for another "let's over-think things", beer. :(

I trust the information was cascaded in a manner that fully utilised the goal congruence of the low hanging fruit, in a manner that was at least directionally correct to the blue sky thinking ballpark frame of reference.

Faaaaaaahhhhkkkkkkk I hated working for North Anerican companies.  All of the above delivered in a coma inducing nasal monotone!

Morgan, you just have to run these expressions up the flag pole and see who salutes them.😂
