Bang average rangers side beat really bang average Celtic side to win one of poorest premier leagues ever.

Sick and tired of media bumming up slippy g luckiest manager ever

Can't stand Rangers (or Celtic for that matter) but I'd kill for Hearts to be bang average and be unbeaten in the league after 32 games, conceding only 9 goals AND being unbeaten in the Europa League upto the round of 16.

Desperate for Gerrard to stay - McCulloch

Former Rangers player Lee McCulloch tells BBC Radio 5Live "it's been a little bit emotional".

"Ten years is a long time to wait," he says. "Every Rangers fan all around the world will be celebrating this tonight.

"The club hit rock bottom. It's been a slow climb back up, but today is all about Steven Gerrard and his squad.

"The changes Steven has made, the leadership he's shown, the recruitment, on and off the pitch, the club has been fantastic.

Utterly disgraceful comment from a Hearts coach. If he admires them so much, time he went back there and he can take Halliday with him. Time RN read the riot act to these two imposters.

The Scottish Government should just keep Glasgow in lockdown and move all Euro games to Murrayfield. Sorted.

It's like two baldies fighting over a comb. You're right it would be some ACHIEVEMENT if Hearts won it. Far greater than what we have witnessed.

I will soil my undies if Klopp leaves Liverpool and Gerrard takes the job. That’ll take the shine right off the title win.

Also just for shits and giggles shouldn’t we be happy for Rangers after their support in the summer.... just wondering how that works?

Hope Nicola Sturgeon bans people from glasgow leaving glasgow to spread covid after yesterday

The percentage of the overall population involved in yesterday's events was miniscule and maybe not that different to the percentage of the population of Perth who celebrated the Saints Cup win. This doesn't make it right, but remember being at school when some pathetic excuse for a teacher decided to punish the whole class because of the behaviour of a few? It was neither productive, sensible or the right thing to do, and all it did was generate resentment against the teacher from those who had done nothing wrong. Just like when at school, it would be counter productive and will have no impact on the idiots as they don't follow the rules anyway and tend to live in their own world centred solely around themselves. It will not happen; Sturgeon is good at threats, but ultimately there is an election coming up.

The fault lies with the police. This was always going to happen and after Saturday's events outside Ibrox. George Square and the road outside Ibrox should both have been barriered off and police put in position to  send people packing as the turned up.  It's called emergency planning.

You remember, that pretend dossier they had that was going to expose all and sundry.
The only thing rangers support is themselves and their increasingly suspect bank balance.

Exactly. Instead they were given a police escort from Ibrox to George Square.

Nice try but the fault lies squarely with the knuckle dragging morons that ignored an epidemic in which many people have died. Unless they are even more stupid than I take them for, they would be perfectly well aware of the potential danger to the rest of the population. Some I believe can even read the words between the big pictures in the Sun or Daily Record.

Lets see the media put a positive spin on that.

They would crawl over broken glass to do so, let’s not kid ourselves that Neilson wouldn’t relish a return to his first club.

Could you show any proof of the destruction of property at the BLM protest, that was praised by the Police for being peaceful, like this yesterday please?

Sevco Statement

https://www.rangers.co.uk/article/club-statement-4/1eY7WhmE2hY1o18GUC9arB

DURING the last number of weeks, Rangers can confirm that we initiated open dialogue with key stakeholders in relation to the possibility of us achieving a historic 55th league title.

We have proactively engaged with our local MP, the Justice Minister, the Scottish Government, Police Scotland and the SPFL in relation to maintaining a cohesive message regarding public safety during the Covid-19 pandemic.

We understand the jubilance of our support across the world who recognise this has been a historic year for the club.

Nevertheless, it has been of great frustration for all football fans across the world that they have not been able to watch their team within stadiums, especially for the loyal Rangers season-ticket holders who have stood by this football club through thick and thin in the last decade.

We reiterate the message from our manager, Steven Gerrard, who highlighted that fans should adhere to government guidelines – stay safe, socially distance and look after each other in this difficult time.

We are aware there is the possibility of more, significant milestones within this season, and we will continue to proactively engage with key stakeholders to maintain a cohesive message in relation to government guidance at this present time.

We look forward to further open dialogue with the government, police, SPFL and other key stakeholders.

Halliday and McCulloch need to tone this down. They are Hearts employees. Stay out of the media and focus on your jobs.

There is a massive amount of difference between worldwide protests of a human social problem and a phoenix club celebrating its first title.

That notwithstanding, even if there wasn't, I was laughing at Ainsley's framing the Huns as vicTims in comparison to BLM protestors who got an astonishingly high proportion of static from police all over the world, not just in Glasgow.

For what it's worth, it was good of you to provide proof that indeed, there had been vandalism over the summer.

Nope they didn’t smash any statues in Glasgow, a couple bits of graffiti is that it?
I’m not kidding myself on at all, it’s bad enough having to sit beside folk like you never mind congregate and catch a deadly disease.

Ah right. Don’t get me wrong I’m not particularly arsed they’ve won, its kinda bitter sweet, no 10iar so sweet the other Glasgow club wins it.. bitter. However I’ve noticed we are a bit selective on the clubs we’re being pals with due to the summer vote.

All real hearts fans wanted rangers to stop those hooped ****s.  But that fact aside the behaviour was unfortunate but inevitable.

Let’s not for a second pretend if wouldn’t have been exactly the same if the vermin had won the 10.  And we would be exactly the same if we’d won the Scottish cup in December (there were threads on here and Facebook discussing the organisation of that very thing). And here are pictures of those animal fermers from Perth doing the exact same after their league cup victory.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/6755621/st-johnstone-fans-lockdown-rules-betfred-cup/amp/

the point is.. every and all teams would do the same. So whilst it’s unfortunate - we can’t get on our high horse about it.
