I still think we are head and shoulders above any team in this league even with Boyce and Smith out (if they are out).

Anything an happen over one game but even though, Hearts far too strong over the 90 for Dunfermline.

Hearts win 2 nil and another Craig Gordon clean sheet.

Andy Haliday reckons it'll be one of toughest games in the league so hopefully they're focused and ready, apparently Robbie Neilson had a few choice words at East Fife regarding the performance.

Be tough to break them down but i reckon we will have too much for them. 2-0 Hearts. Be good to see Ginelley back. Roberts can stay at home IMO

Hearts to burst the Pars bubble

0-3

Got a feeling both will be on the bench after a pretty tough shift last night.

Boyce had an ice pack on his leg after being subbed last night so not hopeful he will be available. Mickey will be though, always is.

Once again the people that actually pay the players wages will be handicapped because of a meaningless international match.

Have to agree, senseless use of players last night.

Niemi’s gloves

On the bright side from last night,  quote from the Sky co-commentator in the highlights “Michael Smith, once again at the heart of everything that’s good about Northern Ireland”

I think Smith will be fine but I cant see Boyce making it.

It will be Naismith and Wighton up top.

Great to hear Ginnelly will be fit. I know Roberts hasnt been great but I like to see him and Ginnelly as the 2 wide men and really stretch Dunfermline's back 4.

Be a tough match but fancy us to win 3-1.

Roberts will end up the better player out of the two.

You read it here first.

Not on the evidence so far but willing to give him some time to settle in. I'm not getting carried away with Ginnelly too much either. There's a lot of improvement needed in his game as well. What he does have though is pace which has been severely lacking in the side for a long time. Mulraney was quick but one player that never seemed to believe in himself.

I think there's going to be goals in this one, just hopefully for us! If Ginnelly picks up where he left off he could cause havoc in a more open game.

3-1 Hearts, fancy Boyce to get one or two in this one if he plays, would be happy to see Wighton in amongst the goals too!

Oh really? Damn, thought he was back in contention, could do with his pace out wide.

Although, that said he wasn't required for the Wee Team...

Ridiculous we have to play 2 days after our players were away playing for their country!

Saw this too

still think we’ll be fine

as long as Berra is no where near the team we can still utilise walker and Roberts and play some good football

It will be bloody annoying if our main striker misses a vital match due to an injury picked up in a totally meaningless game! 🤬

Thought I read yesterday in the Evening News that Neilson said Ginelly was back training and would be ok for tomorrow. 🤔

Dunfermline to make the same mistake Dundee did and try to come at us leaving space in behind.

As long as we play the players to exploit it.  Frear, so far, has only become expert in the back pass and does not attack the space behind the FBs.

Yeah, that's disappointing,  good to hear Robbie  say that Smith & Boyce are good to play though.

Sounds like Ollie Lee's interview could be yet another damning indictment of previous coaching dept & my h praise for the current one 👍

Yeah, he's been disappointing,  apart from a couple of good crosses..

Yeah, said that he was going to return to training, obviously not quite up to it.

Guess it's up to Roberts, frear or Moore to step up

You'd think that Berra, and Neilson as his former teammate, would be embarrassed by how far he has fallen.

Don't know if it's even a fitness or confidence issue now.

Maybe yoga or pilates could help him, as he runs like an old man, no mobility whatsoever.

Lee had a rather large bust up with Levein about style do play / tactics.

Yeah, I've heard that being mentioned previously.

I think that Ollie has a good 'footballing brain', as they say, so he'd definitely be opposed to Leveins attritional 'style' of play.

It's just too bad that Lee doesn't have the physical attributes to play at the tempo that we'd all like to see.

Happy with this.

Makes sense to travel separately given the covid stuff.

I was thinking that but he had a shocker v hibs, basic football skills seemed to leave him.

Hopefully that was a one off, I think he has the "raw" attributes to be a very effective player.

He played well v Dundee, but v hibs, **** me....
