Covid is much worse in italy tbf. Hospitals overflowing...not pretty. I havent seen anything like that here in UK since I fled back. I had it too last year in torino. Serves me right for travelling back and forth right through the epicentre at bergamo airport....

 

Anyhizz Hickey is impressing in italy. I see a scotland future for him.

Had a few good runs and a couple of last ditch blocks.

2 minutes into injury time they equalise (it clipped of another AH block) ... Unlucky;but at this level you cannot afford to sit off the player.

BBC have put him in as ‘one to watch in 2021’ in an article on their site. In which they manage not to mention Hearts once! OK, he doesn’t play for us now. I get that. But for an article by a Scottish BBC journalist not to mention the club he broke through at? A matter of months after he left? Could you imagine that happening if it was Celtic he had left for Bologna? Of course not - it would have been in the first sentence.

Dunno why I have with hickey more than other departed players but have been drawn to follow him more. Maybe cause it's a non UK league?

 

Anyway seems ever since his covid he's been pretty much on the bench since. It'll be a real shame if he's lost his starting place now. Hoping it's just because he's still recovering and be sorted in a few weeks

Sure he was playing originally cos their 1st choice LB, Dijks, was injured and he's back now.

 

He's prob had more mins than he'd have expected. His hope I suppose is to impress enough that they cash in on Dijks and promote him. That's kind of the model at clubs who do this well (we might get there some day!!) .

I watched the Bologna and find myself hoping they win but Dijks has a mare!

 

Parma were poor.

 

I think Dijks is one yellow away from a suspension - disappointed he didn't get some minutes today in preparation.
