Have to say he was approachable and quite amusing, Mrs F asked him about a Nolan (something to do with Big Brother) and he didn’t hold back. However left me with the lasting impression that he was damaged goods.

jack D and coke
Davidson is a knob but Diversity really did a dance routine that ended with a knee on the neck? Aye? Ffs. He’s maybe correct about the Asians not giving a monkeys about covid and living and socialising in very large groups though. A caller on LBC from Oldham when they had the outbreaks said that there was 3 bedroom homes in his street that had over 20 people living in them and they all went in and out each other’s houses not caring a toss. He was probably a just vicious racist too though and best ignored. Can’t be pointing out things like that in this day and age.

Then you get the hard right pushing back with their warped views.

I think (or at least I hope) what our man here is trying to say is that we now seem to live in a culture where any negativity - perceived, just or otherwise - directed towards ethnic groups, sexual genders, or other 'minorities' regardless of source or truthfulness is automatically dismissed as 'something-ism'. A prime example being things like the Asian grooming gangs in Yorkshire. Apparently the public and the police may have known what was going on but were too afraid to say something in case they were labeled racist. Whilst i'm not advocating racism, sexism or any other -ism, in my opinion a society where anyone is scared to call out wrong-doing because of how they feel they will be treated afterwards is heading in a dangerous direction. It's not to do with not giving a toss about covid; it's just the circumstance they find themselves in and it's wrong for Davidson to be pointing the finger at them for it. JD is a dick but I’ve seen it in other news outlets that Asians were the main cause of outbreaks in Leicester and Oldham etc due to them just doing what they wanted. Plenty people on the corona thread blaming our youngsters or people going for a pint for rising cases here but it’s their culture so that’s fine? I’d be pointing the finger at any culture that lived 20 to a 3 bedroom house that spoke little English that paid no attention to rules to be honest. Imagine where you lived 20 people moved in next door into a 3 bed?! You wouldn’t be happy and during a lockdown they all frequented each other’s houses not giving a monkeys for the rules. Obviously not saying your mate doesn’t speak English or that Asians are the cause of any rise here but down there they were and they should be called out for it imo.
