Massive game against Liverpool at Anfield so he picks a 3 man midfield including 2 teenagers and an untried centre half pairing one of whom is a left back. It’s been that way all season which is why he’s going to be booking flights back to Australia in a few weeks. He goes every summer on holiday Quote

They could have been realistic. Man City losing Rodri seemed to really knock the shit out of Pep. They're back again though. Huge summers for Arsenal and NU to get solid signings in. Quote
JFK-1 Posted May 2 Posted May 2 The Europa has become the only possible saving grace for Man U. They need CL money badly and will put everything into trying to win the Europa to qualify. Currently on 39 points after 34 games champions Liverpool more than double that tally on 82 points. And to bolster it Liverpool have also scored more than twice as many goals. Man U 39 goals v Liverpool 80 goals. Man U have a negative GD of -8 while Liverpool are on +48. That's one helluva gap and especially so when you consider Liverpool will likely strengthen for next season. They know they're getting their CL wedge. Quote

Malinga the Swinga Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Wonder if Arteta in danger of losing his job at Arsenal. Didn't bother signing a forward at end of last season, appears incapable of changing tactics and allowing a good squad to drift away. Guess if the get past PSG then that changes everything but that's unlikely. Second Bournemouth goal was most likely handball but VAR didn't want to get involved. Quote

Similar to hearts season this arsenal one. Looked safe for champs league, hearts in prem. In semi final champs, semi final cup, don't lose the semi or you could get sacked. One lost semi got sacked. Other ones up on Wednesday. I think if miss out on champs league they would sack him. It's hard to watch arsenal at times. Last season was the same but you're winning games and taking title race to final game so you don't care. Leagues over by March and now its more noticable as a fan Quote
Malinga the Swinga Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Must be difficult for Gordon and Willock to play professional football with their disabilities. Every time anyone goes near them, they just fall over and roll about in pain. Thank goodness for VAR as the referee in Brighton game hasn't got a decision right in the game. Quote
Bongo 1874 Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Better second half but lucky to get a 1-1 draw there Brighton for large parts had us sussed!! Need to up our game against Chelsea hope Eddie is telling them despite the cup win, this season is a failure if we throw away the chance of getting Champions League football. Quote

Seaside Dave Posted May 11 Posted May 11 Disappointed isn't outrage on here over Nunez diving after miscontrolling the ball. Scandalous. Poor first half from arsenal 2 down Better second half from arsenal 2_2 Could have won it at the end. Could have lost it at the end. Quote

mre Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Awuniyi of Nottingham Forest in an induced coma due to injury sustained in a collision with the goal post. The phase of play was so clearly offside and could have been avoided if the linesewoman had flagged it. Is this the most serious injury yet due to these stupid guidelines. I'm not even sure what the point of line judges is these days. Quote
