Do you not?

I think he has reached his limit, he has done a great job with 3rd etc and he deserves massive credit, I just think in the bigger games does he motivate the player's to want to go to the next level, does he have it within himself to get more out of them.

I'm not saying he is underachieving.

"he deserves massive credit"

Plus time, resources and a bit of respect

Like Stendel did away at St Mirren?

Was a massive game and we absolutely stank the place out.

Stendel didn't do as good , but you have to remember st mirrens goal was a handball and in my opinion we should have been given a pen that night.

How would he have done with a clean slate a pre season, his own player's we will never know.

His style of play fans and player's can get behind possession based football teams, that try to win the ball high up the pitch.

I feel sorry for Robbie because he knows himself the status quo of Scottish football.

Foreign coaches don't fear the old firm.

Different mindset all together hopefully Robbie can do it.

Let's get this thread back on topic 👍 sorry.

He had his own players and a January window and blew it.

His record in the last year of his last three managerial roles show consistency - in abject freefall.

Do you think Robbie can take us forward?

I do.

Do you think you could stop fantasising about Stendel? I don't.

He played exciting football without a goalie. As a result we we were pish. The players didn't have a scooby at paisley in the game that could have kept us up.

Robbie has taken us from the championship to well clear in third. Put out decent spl opposition in the cup and hibs too. And taken both the OF beyond 90 minutes in finals.

Who do you think is the better man?

He never truly had his own team and it wasn't settled like Robbie has had 👍

An attacking manager that plays a counter press when we lose the ball, and doesn't admire that the old firm have good player's, to the point he's in complete awe.

I prefer a manager that doesn't support Rangers or Celtic, and comes into the league genuinely believing he can win it.

Rather than excuse after excuse on why he came up short.

But Robbie has had a pre season, Stendel didn't 😂😂 to even compare them is stupid.

That's why i don't right him off.

Stendel’s problem wasn't beating Rangers or Hibs it was the smaller teams he failed against, Robbie is the opposite he can't get them up for it when it's the big crunch.

Like Popescu, Roberts, Frear, Kastaneer, Stewart, Gnanduillet?
I think he has a good success rate since Savage came in and finds the players for him.

Conte has been promised 7 experienced players, can’t see that happening but I’m sure proceeds from their friendly with Roma will help, in Israel 🤦🏽

Boyce and Sibbick still in team, and if you believe Beni, Devlin, Sibbick, Woodburn, you mean savages sources?.

Spot on 👍

Savage sources the player's, and he still can't get them to turn up against Rangers or Celtic.

Don't we employ someone to scout and recommend players?

Savage would certainly have helped Stendel find better players but Stendel would probably have continued playing Joel Pereira.

I couldn't tell you the current structure TBH, but it's definitely unfair to put Beni down to Savage's contacts.

Aw no stendel chat again 😂. Guy was a clown, got a couple of decent results but playing the highest of lines with dikamona/Berra/Halks and 3 of the worst goal keepers I’ve seen was criminal. Stendel couldn’t lace Robbies boots.

I liked Stendel but this isn't the thread for it, and it's just being used to deflect from Marcelo Bielsa being a guff manager too.

Did we not get pumped  by celtic 5-0 playing Stendel ball.

Nothing I do with the shite you talk about, they are better teams.

No excuse, just a fact that almost everyone with an interest in football would recognise.

Apart from you.

Aberdeen due money if McKenna gets promoted with Forest.
