Spurs were garbage.

Kane all of a sudden struggling for form.

An easy 1/0 win for Everton as you can get.

The Mourinho effect. 🤷

Totally. He’s sucked all the joy out of the team. Also what I’ve not seen from him before was the complete panic and lack of planning in the last half hour. He was just randomly chucking players on with no idea what they were going to do when they got there. Poch must be pissing himself.

Also interesting to see in the last couple of months the women’s teams down south have started to behave like their EPL equivalents and started buying up talent from around the world with big transfer fees and wages.
Fast forward a few years and puzzlement that their international team is nowhere near as good as its league performances.

Yep.  Classic 2nd season Jose.

Everton a good outside bet for top 4 if Carlo can keep that squad fit imo.

The Liverpool Leeds game last night was fantastic.

How football should be played, El loco has made them a force to be reckoned with, personally think if we had kept Stendel, he could of done similar with us 😔 never mind.

Agreed, Newcastle are my English team, but have to say was impressed with Everton the midfield three of Gomes, Allan,  Doucoure, looked very good, and Rodriguez brings them something different in attack he had a good game today.

Just watched PSG v Marseille.
Not a bad game livened up by a last minute barney with 5 red cards given. Not surprisingly including Neymar for a sneaky punch to the back of someone’s head. Claiming he heard a racist term from the player. I don’t condone racism in any way but he seems to use it as a get out of jail card too often, lessening the genuine times it happens.

Do not think this is the case unless things have changed.

Yeah I’m sure some of the others would’ve heard it, dozed off and missed it. Had to rewind to see it. Niggle all the way through, Marseille unlucky to have a goal chalked off too. No social distancing in the stands.

If it’s a percentage of turnover higher larger crowds in the financial year would have pushed that up.

I know that all of the City women that have left to go abroad is for bigger wages.

This recent transfers seem to be players from the USA.

I take it their league is shutdown.

Only four American women mentioned in this article, though Morgan may have signed for Spurs since it was written.

Yep. He's such a negative defensive manager.

He's good with underdog teams that play a low block and counter attack.

Terrible appointment by Spurs. He should just retire before he ruins his reputation completely.

The weird thing is if Spurs sack Jose which is very possible, the one manager who ticks all the boxes for them is still Pochettino.

They should never have sacked him. The reason they fell away was because he wasn't back in the transfer windows and instead Spurs spent about a billion quid on a stadium. Their owners made a huge mistake by not sticking by him. They should have gone for Brendan Rodgers.

MotD is enough for me. Really enjoyed watching it again since lockdown.

Great start with Liverpool v Leeds, absolutely fantastic watch, felt for Leeds.

Good signings for Newcastle (Wilson, Hendrick, Fraser), Everton (James).

Leeds and Everton are looking good. James Rodriguez is quite a player but Richarlison missed about three sitters. Spurs were gash. Liverpool are my big team but I might ease off a bit now they've won the title at last. Soft spots: Palace, Villa, Fulham, Newcastle.

If Leeds do not sort their defence out it is going to be a long season for them.

They aren’t playing Liverpool ever week. Leeds will be mid table imo

The 4 goals were all crap defending.

They got a Liverpool defence on an off day and yet they still defended worse.

Agree they should finish mid table and a joy to watch going forward but even bottom of the league teams will score against them if they do not sort it out their defensive problems.

That goal by James Reece was an absolute walloper in the top corner!

Ok, I 'll correct it incase anyone's having nightmares about it :)  It's Reece James not what I posted before.  Wasn't hard to confuse myself, forenames and surnames becoming consistent with each other.

Oh yeah, I was going to mention Burnley are playing Sheffield United in the EFL cup Thursday, 17:30 skysports.  I fancy a draw.  Should be close.

Brighton looking good for this season.  Been playing well last couple of games.  Thumping Portsmouth currently and looking very good, nice goals.

 at Mac Allister, I thought he was Scottish or at least English, quite a surprise where he comes from.

I remember watching his old man years ago when the Argentinian games used to be shown in the middle of the night. All the glamorous sporty looking Argentinian types and then a wee ginger bloke at full back looking like Billy Bremner’s love child.

Controversial Everton first goal, looked offside, then second viewing was no offside, the ball hit the back of the wba players head but from my point of view it was a foul on the wba player, he was pushed from behind.

It had to be judged through var as well.

VAR grants Everton's equaliser after DCL pounces to backheel home 👊
