FWJ
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-54131297 Probably one for the oldies here, but a huge figure in bringing Britain into the modern age in the 60s and 70s. I remember the furniture my parents had when I was wee - would have been bought in the 50s and it was so dowdy and old-fashioned. I’m sure people will say Habitat was over-priced tat, but I bought quite a bit of stuff from the shop on Shandwick Place and it was good, long lasting stuff. Got a big coffee table there about 25 years ago and people still comment on how good it looks.
