Better call Saul
*as topic states but I don't like the idea of a wire dangling down from my window where camera would sit Thanks again jkb
Greedy Jambo
Mine is currently lying at the bottom of cupboard somewhere, I had wires and couldn't be arsed with it, nothing ever happened anyway lol If you're a heavy driver, taxi driver etc, i would suggest getting a professional to fit one. Sorry if i was no help whatsoever. ha. P.s you want one that stays on when the car isn't on, to catch all the ******s. Guest
Standard seems a bit ropey. I paid an auto electrician to fit one with no wires hanging out. Im on my 3rd myvue (first two stopped working) and it doesnt work properly either. Its only really any good for telling me a speed camera is coming up
Tott
Have a nextbase 512,which is probably 5 years old now Bought a hardwire adaptor kit for it. Easy enough to fit,you dont need an auto-electrician. Took about 15 mins to install ,all cables hidden. Only issue ive had with it is that the sd card needed replaced after it failed. Though will do sod all to stop your car getting broken into ,its not what they are for.

Don't think it would help for that. You don't want it drawing power from your car battery if the engine is running. I'd quite like two dash cams but I won't have wires running around and i can't be hooped hooking them up correctly. Too tight to pay someone as well. Tommy Brown
Thought I would bump this. Any recommendations from Front/Rear cam. What is the minimum I should expect to spend to get something worthwhile?
