Restaurant name help please

Morgan

Recommended Posts

Evening,

we’re trying to remember the name of an Italian restaurant from the late 80’s.

It was at Churchill and, we think, was on the premises that is now the Clay Oven Indian restaurant.

We think it’s name began with an ‘R’ but can’t be sure.  It did a pre-theatre menu due to its close proximity to the Churchill Theatre.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks

It’s the very last bush I’d ever beat about, Ray.

I can assure you of that!

She’s not nicknamed the Maybury Roundabout for nothing, you know?  🤷🏿‍♂️

Second best boozer in Morningside, Ray.  👍

Not quite the same since Watson Kerr passed away, but still really good.

I remember going to watch the GoGo dancers at the Canny Man’s mid to late 70s. We used to start the day with a few frames in the snooker hall round the corner. The dancers in Tony’s were a bit raunchier though iirc.
