This is going to be feckin hilarious. Imagine the ignominy of losing to the Czech pickamix 11.

I can't wait to hear these pricks on the radio afterwards either.

Feck Scotland, the SFA, the SPFL and the wanks in the media.

Only the Hearts.

It'll be our fault for not starting training earlier 🙄 and thus not having Naismith, Gordon & Hickey(?!) fit & available for selection. Swift demotion to League 1.👍

Comfortable 2-0 win for Scotland.

Anything other than 'comfortable' should be jotters for SC. Its unthinkable not getting a result this evening.

Jack, Magregor, Forrest, Christie  are all very ordinary players. Might be good enough to hump Hamilton 4 times a season but nowhere near good enough to drive the international team to another level.

Not enough centre mids for my liking.

That's what I was thinking... holy hell. I hope I'm missing something and it's a tactical masterclass, but looks like lots of shoehorning guys into the 11 again to me!

Or a back 3 of mckenna mctominay and palmer?

Should be a back 4 of Palmer - Cooper - Mckenna - Robertson.

Cooper is a CB and Palmer is a RB, would be really surprised if not it's not a 4.

I think it looks like a 4 3 3 with Mctominay, Fleck and McLean as midfield and Armstrong and Christie as part of a fairly narrow front three. We'll soon see.

That's the way I see it although would describe it as 4-3-2-1.

Three Englishmen and an Australian in the starting eleven?

Cooper - Scottish father

Dykes - Scottish parents, both

McTominay - Scottish father

Palmer is the only one who doesn't have a full Scottish parent, presuming those are the four you meant.

Actually thought Tierney was out best defender last game so surprised he's the one who misses out, hope Robertson steps up today and finds Dykes in the box

@Riddley Walker yeah that's who I was thinking about. I'm not doubting the legitimacy of their selection by the way. More just commenting on their actual nationality.

Fair enough. I'd imagine they all think of their nationality as at least half Scottish though,(and they are, and Dykes is full Scottish) especially since Dykes and McTominay in particular chose Scotland over England and Australia.

We have the players to play a 4-2-3-1 and have a bit more width. I know it's the trendy system right now but it seems to provide defensive stability and more attacking options.

McLaughlin

Palmer McKenna Tierney Robertson

McTominay McGinn

Forrest Armstrong Christie

Dykes

If he's dropped Tierney that suggests 4 at the back but Tierney should surely still be ahead of McKenna or Cooper in the left of central defence. I'd also like Calum P for the right attacking midfield role. Has the engine to get up and down and can come steaming in from the right to win headers.

Scotland by 3 goals tonight.

6-3 Scotland.

Anything less than 3 or 4 for us and none for them should be considered an almighty embarrassment.

We will play pit a pat tippy tappy misplaced passes football with no shots in anger at goal. They will score a couple of wonder goals from players who have not only never played at this level before but also never normally score goals .

2-0 loss

Scotland won't lose this, no chance. They might be poor but it's inconceivable that they'll lose to a random picked team who haven't even trained together.

Makeshift team, rookie manager - not often we avoid such obvious banana skins.
