I began coaching this year and courses I need, cost money. The thought of giving them cash via my own or the clubs pocket makes me ill.

Genuine question as I don't know, if you went to down to Berwick (or similar area) could you take the coaching badges under the EFA? :D

Oh well. Maybe all just add 31p to monthly payments as another poster suggested

The screen I looked at had the pennies greyed out/ fixed at 00!

Where does all the fine money go? You would hope it would go into grassroots but we all know that wont be the case.

to the blazers christmas party and whatever trips they can justify

Am I wrong in saying that Dundee Utd also went to court?!? It’s not like we invited them along!

they responded as did raith and cove rather than taking anyone to court

Go Fund Me as above, see already mentioned.

Flung in £20 as an act of rebellion against these tubes at the SFA/SPFL.

I already give to FoH and make donations but this is another piece of publicity and it's worth it for their 2% commission.

Raise the £5k on there and send it in jars of 2p's as bn jambo suggested.

Honestly that's a huge relief, I was thinking any money from Clare's sale would have been going straight to paying it off, instead it's probably one week of his wage. Definitely taking that and happy to get it over with

Social media has been a hoot on this one with fans from other clubs

Clubs demoted by vote: Nothing to see here,  accept it and move on

Same clubs "only" fined £2,500: Scottish Football is a joke

I'd guess so but the courses take place at Hampden, I'd imagine if the EFA works similarly then I'd have to go to Wembley. And I hate London more than the SFA 😂

Would be a brilliant gesture if the Hearts fans paid both fines

Quite surprised by this. Was fully expecting a big fine, but suspended, giving them something to hold over us.

As has been observed, this suggests that they know they have made an utter mess of this.

SFA fine?

No.

No they are not.

Precisely.

Thread title should be SFA fine (noun - definitely NOT adjective)

SFA have issued the minimum punishment which makes me think they were under scrutiny on this.   It can't possibly be because they have a conscience.

Ex member of the SaS

Is the fine so small because the CoS said any punishment would be wrong. Small enough for us to say feck it just pay and not rock the boat ( again )

Really hope it raises the £5,000 and a Hearts and Partick supporter turn up at reception, hand it over to the receptionist saying that it didn't costs the clubs one penny followed by have

a nice day.

Someone suggested on twitter that we should offer to pay the fine in 38 instalments and then just stop paying after 30.

No £500k fine, suspension, 30 point penalty or signing ban, then?

That will have .nest scuttling around furiously.

Kudos to @Disco Dave. Very funny.

I suppose the SFA have to be wary of large fines for us/Partick as someone might bring up bigotry, sectarianism and racism is against the law and the "gruespme twosome" might get investigated........ I do sincerely doubt that will ever happen though!

We broke the rules - small fine -nothing to see here. Mr Doncaster has banked his bonus, Celtic have their title and Champions League entry. All is "right" in the corrupt world of Scottish Football............
