2nd string was early doors in Petrofac and beaten 4.1.

The massive away crowd was 1.0 in winter with Keatings scoring and also

missing a penalty.

Clearly I'm either going senile, or perhaps one too many cans of Zubr. 😆

Might have missed this, but when games are behind closed doors will there be an option to pay per view like what the premiership teams are doing?

3,500 went to Petrofac game.

Unknown to us Robbie picked the 3rd team.

When will bet fred group teams be announced?

Another great decision by the "SPFL Powerbrokers"(as the rags like to call them).

An already tight fixture schedule further packed out with pointless group games.

LC should be a straight knockout for this season at least

Like almost everything else with the SPFL it all comes down to TV money. Don’t play the games then TV can’t show them and income would be reduced, etc...

Probably correct.

This is where a proper CEO or board would be negotiating with TV companies to work out a compromise on their deal given the current circumstances

Must be a way to work out across the 3 Premier Sports channels how to ensure they still got the same amount of games even with a knockout competition.....

In fairness EPL is a lot more ‘professional’ than the SPFL, I’d trust them handle the situation more safely.

Cup draw Monday 1pm

I should probably know better by now but I ‘assume’ that the seeding allocation will be the same as previous years and the team moving from the top tier to the second tier retains the higher seeding. We should be a North top seed, with Dundee Utd a North second seed.

You'd expect us to get one of the 2 Dundee sides, ICT or Arbroath as the the second seeds in our group. Definitely a stronger pot than the likely four from the south second seeds. Before anyone bothers to say... yes we should be beating teams like that.

SPFL voted for it. But each league has it's own vote.

Hadn't seen that Premiership vote has taken place. Maybe it has.

Aye, and it was 4-0, not 4-1.

My dad's first game in 15 years as well.

Always thought it should be 3 subs and the keeper if needed.

The rangers/ Aberdeen lc final made my mind up on that.

No it was 4-1. The thug Jason Talbot scored an OG in the last minute for us. He went on to stud Sam Nicholson later in the season and the last I heard he went to Cowden via the Pars. Still, can always claim to have scored for Hearts in his career.

Not surprising if you don't remember the goal (back post attempt to turn a cross behind for a corner) as "one or two" fans had left by then..........😄

How come

Because the teams that finish 5th to 12th in the Premiership are put into 8 different groups.
