Aye let’s see how anti-establishment he is at Celtic TV.

Given that I have been jobless before I'm entitled to make that comment.

You should try not to assume the answer to something you don't know 👍

So you would rather be jobless, with no income to pay the rent/mortgage or feed your family than get paid for a cushy job talking about football where you don't even have to make an effort to sound unbiased?

It's hard to tell who is scraping the barrel here, Celtic or Stewart? 😀

They hate us. MS will be on there to be ridiculed as a mini hun. The wee laddies and bovine toothed braindead will lap it up.

Yes he was always completely (100%) rational , objective and professional on the subject of Levein

Given his property portfolio in Edinburgh city centre including his house in Rutland Sq I don’t think he’s short of a bob or two .
So I’m guessing he’s taking on a job for the sake of working which admirable.

That said working for that institution is a strange choice , I hope he’s ready to dumb down on his explanations and start to develop the old

offended by everything

embarrassed by nothing

attitude.

Yes, I'd rather be jobless. I've got more than enough money to tide me over 👍

Unusual move.

a) Catholic

b) Irish heritage

c) Celtic supporter

d) Former Celtic player...

MS "tic's" non of these boxes.

Is this Celtic's Mo Johnston to Rangers moment? 😱

He hates rangers tho, that box is ticked.

Still can't see him lasting long, though. MS will clash with one of Celtic's beloved (Chris Sutton, most likely) once too often and they'll always side with the similarly minded.

Tbf, he's probably on it to do just that.

Time will tell.

Ignoring his CL obsession he can be a good pundit . He does , at times , argue over minor points for fekkinever .

If he doesn't have fallouts with fellow pundits and if he toes the party [celtic] line I'll be extremely disappointed in him

Has he listened to Celtic TV?

"You've read the brief Michael?"

"It says i can't ever criticise Celtic"

"Yes"

"What if they don't play well?"

"Just keep praising and look for someone else to blame...anyone not associated with Celtic, ref, Scottish football, the weatherman, air pollution....etc"

"What if I don't like Neil's team selection "

"You should probably read the brief again Michael"

"There's a redacted bit at the bottom....it looks like something about the Green Brigade...."

"All our fans are great....all of them....its the first point on the brief....remember that.....I'll let you read it again"

He  is employed by BT Sport who are run by Sunset and Vine. It is S & V who Celtic have signed the deal with.

His current situation with BBC is unclear. I hope he continues with them, however.

All correct.  They are also in talks with other clubs to do similar on their channels.

He’s on holiday from the bbc.

You can never have enough money. I don't see what the issue is. Take your faux outrage somewhere else thank you. Imangine being triggered because of a man accepting a job. Peak kickback peak2020

Strange that both him and his wife still park their bloody expensive looking cars in the square then ?
He’s  a strange one though , speaking to him when he’s walking past the taxi rank he comes across as a level headed guy , yet when he’s in the media he’s somewhat more arrogant .
Given who he’s now working with , it might liven up the conversation 😃

He has a gym membership at the Sheraton round the corner and may still park in Rutland area and he's not married.

As someone said on another thread, Strachan is employed by both Celtic (via Celtic TV) and Dundee (as Technical Director).

If he is still with Dundee, that can’t be allowed, can it?

Correct.. so not being paid by Celtic. Facing project of losing good money when BT Sports failed to put a decent offer to cover Scottish Football next season. I have reduced my Virginia Media package as it was only useful for Bt Sports and 90% of Champions League games have no interest
