They'd need to stay up in league one for the numbers. Either Kelty or Brora would then be promoted to league two, or knowing the spfl they'd just run league two with nine teams.

Ideally both Dundee Clubs go bust, no relegation for us, partick and Stranraer, Additional promotions for Falkirk and Edinburgh City and both Brora and Kelty admitted to league two

Agreed. They used to be a great club back in the days of Gilzean and Penman. Very sad that their stock has fallen so far.

Years out of the top flight has murdered many once decent sized Scottish clubs. Our shan wee small top division with limited promotion and relegation has seen many clubs lose a lot of supporters. See also Dunfermline.

Many Dunfermline, Raith Rovers and Falkirk fans prefer to be in the Championship than the top league as that's where their rivalries are. It's the same with Elgin, many of their fans would love to be back in the Highland League setup.

Doubt that’s the majority though. I know a whole family of them who stopped supporting them and now call themselves Manchester United fans.

Kane Hemmings still holding out.

How did he end up back there in the first place?

Utd losing already. An acceptable outcome to all this would be them getting relegated and us taking their place next season. It's got to be someone! Hamilton, St Mirren, Ross County, St J... it'll be very amusing, especially as whoever goes down probably would have had more chance of staying up in a 14 team top league. St Mirren or D Utd would probably top my list.

Elgin were a big club in the Highland setup. They won it loads of times and regularly pulled in 4k + for big matches during the 70s and 80s. They've got nothing now and their nearest away match is miles away.

If we were to play them tomorrow we'd probably pull more jambos from RAF Lossiemouth to the game than their home fans

This is really sad news for the genuine fan, however I can't recall many of then joining us in condemning the way this has been handled and can only assume they didn't care. In that case I too couldn't care if they go down the tubes. Every fan of every club who stood by and allowed their club to make the choice they did, doesn't deserve our sympathy. Not one single fan has come out and moaned about the way this has been handled and most are happy to make this about us and only us. I just hope that the other clubs who shafted us now understand the position they put THEMSELVES in. This has never been about Hearts alone and them. It's always been about the injustice and how the league's board ran rough shod over the rules to GIVE Celtic the tainted title.

One of them was on here a couple weeks back, can’t remember the thread.  The Message was all about not being the fault of the fans etc.....I asked them to post back their club supporters disapproval letter to their board or, any e mails, threads from their forums to show this displeasure.......I didn’t receive a reply.  Bridges have been burned and we were not holding the matches.
